"Very well." He said, closing his eyes.
We finally arrive at the races. Sebastian opened the door for us, and we walked up to the white building. It was a little chilly, so we hurry inside. Ciel walks up to one of the bidding booths.
"1200£ on number 56." Ciel said sternly. He turned to us and walked out past the stables and into the seating area. We saw the queen and I gracefully curtsied to her as Ciel slightly bowed, along with Sebastian. Ciel went around and began to make light converstaion. Of course I had to introduce myself to the nobles' wives.
"Are you engaged to the Earl Phantomhive now? Were did the other girl Ms. Midford go? Are you a concubine?" They prodded.
"No, no we aren't engaged. Elizabeth is to him. I'm just his cousin, I was asked to attend because she's a bit sick." I retorted, feeling very awkward now. Sebastian waltzed over, hearing us all talk.
"Ladies will you please excuse her for a moment, I have some business with Lady Rose." He said, with the women gawking over him.
"Of course, well your butler is quite the attractive thing. Do have a good day, I hope we can continue our conversations soon." One of them said, presumably a Countess. Sebastian took my hand and helped me out of the booth.
"Thanks Sebastian."
"No problem, I thought you might want to see your horse instead of make useless chatter with them. Especially over something so touchy as that." He led me to the stables until we reached one with a sign on top that said "#56". The horse was beige with black spots, and white fur just above it's hoofs.
"This is the one Ciel got for you. Or rather, the both of you."
"Oh I'll name it Tiny Socks!" I practically screamed and jumped in joy. I skipped across the stables and down to Ciel. He was just leaning against the rails watching the trainers get their horses ready.
"Ciel its a wonderful horse- I named it Tiny Socks and oh its so cute how did you find it? I think its just the best-"
"Please, slow down. I'm glad you like the horse." Ciel said slightly laughing.
