Manik's pov

A week passed in a blink of an eye. I and Nandini were not allowed to meet but still we used to "accidentally" bump into each other some day or the other. Everyone is so happy because of this marriage but to be honest, i am still confused whether its a good decision or not. And so is Nandini. And there is one more person who is unhappy. She is none other than Alya. How much i hate her. The reason she sticks with me is that she's Harshad's sister & he'd asked her to trap me. And these guys think i don't knew anything. Huh.

I was busy thinking when i felt someone hugging me from behind. "Morning mom." I said. "Kaisa hai mera bacha? " mom asked. "Mom I'm not a kid anymore.. " i complaint.. and mom laughed.

"You'll always be my kiddo..acha ab get ready. We will be going to Moorthy's place. Humne decide kara hai that Haldi ki rasam ek jagah hogi.." mom said. My face lit up thinking that i will finally be able to meet her.

"Tumhe toh Haldi ki bhi zarorat nahi.. Nandini ka naam sun kar vaise hi tumhara chera khil gaya.." mom said & giggled. "Mommmmmm.. aisa kuch nahi hai.. I'm going for a bath.." i said & ran to bathroom. Mom knows me so well. I smiled at the what mom said...

When i was ready, i went downstairs & saw everyone was waiting for me. "Kya lag rahe ho bhai.." Mukti said & i smiled. "Vaise tu bhi kuch kam nahi lag rahi... kisi bhikhari se..." i said n laughed. Mukti grabbed a paper weight kept on the table beside her & threw it to me. I bend down on time.

"Abe o.. pagal ho gayi hai.. jaan legi meri?? Abhi toh meri shadi bhi nahi hui.." i said in a go. "Mukti.. not nice. Ek paper weight nahi phekna chahiye tumhe apne bhai pe.." Cabir said. "Ha nhi toh.." i said, gasping. "Beta lemme complete.. Mukti u shud thro a vase on him.." Cabir said & everyone laughed.
