Pilot

"Aria, I can't believe we actually did it", said Ezra with a huge smile.
" I know. But we can't tell the girls what happened between us. It's gonna ruin everything and I'll have to find a way to tell Liam. Great" she said annoyingly.
Ezra and Aria were celebrating their book release up in Ezra's apartment above the brew.
"What are we going to do about Hanna? I mean it's bad enough that we set a trap for A but actually A set a trap for us and our plan totally backfired!" Said Aria worryingly.
"Aria, we're here to celebrate our release on this book! Can we please think about that later?" Asked Ezra. Aria smiled. Then Ezra took Aria into his hands and they hugged for a while.

Aria remembered that she had to meet Liam for a coffee to discuss how excited he was for her. It was hard for Aria to keep a straight face knowing that she hooked up with Ezra last night. Liam goes on to say how happy he is for her and wants to celebrate with a party.
"Will Ezra be there?" Asked Aria
"Yes! Ofcourse. He is co-writer. Invite anyone you want." Commented Liam.
Aria became anxious as she was afraid that if Ezra was there a spark could fly between them that would ruin her relationship with Liam for good but she knew that she never stopped loving Ezra and has lost all feelings for Liam but doesn't want to break his heart. Aria looks at Liam with such a happy face but means it sarcastically.
At the party (situated in a fancy Restuarant) there is tons of guests waiting for the authors to arrive. Liam planned for him and Aria to come in together and Ezra next to them. Since Aria and Ezra were standing next to each other it was hard to resist not flirtatiously looking at one another.

The party became very awkward for Ezra and Aria. They were continuously looking at each other and Liam was wondering why Aria's not paying attention to him. She tells him that she's just tired but doesn't want to go home.  The DJ plays a slow song which causes the connection between Liam and Aria to be a lot weaker meanwhile stronger between Ezra and Aria.
"Ok, what is up with you? You haven't been listening to anything I've been saying and I've caught you looking at your ex teacher many times." Angrily asks Liam.
"No nothing's wrong. Seriously Liam. Your just overreacting. Nothing's happened." Replies Aria knowing that something did happen.

Ezra meanwhile dances with his mom who insists on dancing with the star of the party so that she gets the attention from the paparazzi. Across the dance floor Spencer notices the looks and stares between Ezra and Aria and can't help think that something happened that changed them.

The DJ then plays a song that both Ezra and Aria remember from the night they met. B26. They immediately stare into one another's eyes.
"Let's go sit down. This isn't even a song," explains Liam, but Aria pays no attention.
Within a dash Aria turns back round to look at Ezra. Liam shows anger and insists she sit down. But Aria has no thought and just runs over to Ezra. Everyone turns round to look and can't help but judge them. Ezra catches Aria in his arms and they hug dramatically for as long as they can. They bring their heads round and kiss for quite a while knowing that their love is unbreakable.

Did Ezra and Aria really ever stop loving each other after the 5 year break?
I don't think so.
