Ch.3 Carrot Soup

(Sam's P.O.V)

"You idiot!" I yelled at Taurtis.

  I was trying to teach him how to make the perfect carrot soup, but he just wasn't getting it.

"Let me do it," I said as I took the knife from him and began cutting the carrots.

"What do you want me to do?" He asked.

"Just sit and let me cook," I ordered.

  He sat down on the countertop next to me.

"I'm lucky to have you," He said.

"Yah you are," I scoffed.

"I mean that, you cook, you clean. Your waifu material," He smiled.

"W-whatever," I blushed.

"Hehehe, and you're adorable," He brushed  a stray hair behind my ear.

"Stop, I'm trying to cook," I whined.

  He laughed again, before hopping off the counter and wrapping his arms around me, resting his head on my shoulder.

"I love you," He whispered in my ear.

"I love you too, now let me cook," I laughed.

"Fine, jeez, I just wanted to cook with you," Taurtis walked over to the tv and began watching whatever was on.

(Little Time Skippy~)

I got out of the shower, and looked in the mirror. I noticed my hair was getting shorter, which meant I was turning back into my male form. Oops, I guess I forgot again. Oh well, at least Taurtis will be happy, he always complains that he hasn't seen my, technically, real form in forever.

I put on my pajamas, which lucky I had picked out an over sized white t-shirt and one of Taurtis's boxers. I walked out of the bathroom to see Taurtis laying on the bed, playing with his phone.

I shock my head, "We're supposed to be going to sleep, get off your phone."

He looked up, "Hey, I was wondering why your voice sounded different."

"Don't get used to it, the minute I change back I am taking the pills," I layers down next to him, turning off the light, though the moon was bight enough that I could still see him.

"Well then I'd better enjoy this while it lasts," He leaned in and kissed me.

  He tried to deepen the kiss, but I stopped him, "No, we need to go to sleep."

"Awww, your no fun," He said.

  I rolled over and he wrapped his arm around my hip. I snuggled into his chest, and slowly began to drift off into a deep sleep.

(Dream)

  I ran through the trees. I wasn't sure where I was going or what I was running from, all I knew was it was getting closer.

  Laughter rang around me.

"Ring around the rosie,
Pocket full of posies," A child's voice sang slowly as I ran.

"Ashes,
Ashes,
We all fall down," I stopped.

  The footsteps behind me stopped as well. I turned around, looking back where I came, but saw nothing. Where was I?

  I looked around, but everywhere I turned looked the same.

  I've had this dream before, so I know what's going to happen. And no matter how many times I have had this dream before, I can't change the outcome.

  I felt a hand wrap around my waist and another cover my mouth. Magically, I changed from a teen to a child. I tried to scream but it was no use, no one ever heard it, at least not this far into the woods.

  The scene shifted and I was facing a street with no cars, no people, nothing. Slowly being pulled back.

  Each time I had this dream, the memories burned in my mind.

"Think of Taurtis," I told myself, "He will never let this happen to you ever again."
