Ch.6 Battle Test

(3rd Person P.O.V)

With weapons in hand, the two teams charge. Little did the Demolition team know, that Blue and Virgo had been communicating telepathically, and had formed a plan.

Blue raised her hand, willing the weapons to fly out of their hands. It was unfair, but they did say you could use your powers.

Sam teleported away, hiding in one of the broken down buildings. Watching from a crack in the wall.

Ashley used her paralyzing shock on Dom, taking a swing at him with her katana, successfully knocking him out of the battle.

She tried this with Taurtis, but he blocked it with his shield. Quickly rolling away as he used his shield to try to punch her.

Virgo ran towards J, quickly saying an apology, before knocking her out.

The four on the team slowly turned towards Taurtis, liking their odds. Taurtis cocks his head, before charging.

The boy with the dark brown hair was sadly no match for this, not to mention that his powers over nature wasn't going to help him in this illusion.

Sam teleported back to the battle, choosing to fight Blue, while dodging the attacks from Ashley.

Taurtis took this opportunity to single out Virgo. Virgo predicted every move that he made, dodging each attack. But the more he dodged the more angrier Taurtis got. Taurtis started to act more on impulse and focused less on thinking this through. This made it harder for Virgo to predict his actions.

Soon Virgo was a little to slow at dodging and Taurtis ended up sending him flying.

Meanwhile, Sam was trying to figure out how to unarm Blue and get a weapon, but it wasn't really working since she could read his thoughts, just like he could her's.

Ashley spun around as Taurtis threw another punch, she dodged it just in time. Slowly trying to get away, but yet buy some more time for Blue, knowing that if she managed to knock out Sam, they would have a slight advantage over Taurtis.

Finally, Blue was able to find a flaw in Sam's plan, and was able to use her sword to knock him over, hitting the ground. Saying a sorry, before jabbing her sword into his chest.

Blue ran behind Taurtis and tried to swing, but he heard her and blocked it. Ashley took this opportunity to try to paralyze him, but he was to fast and blocked it. He also managed to send her flying into a building, knocking her out of the battle.

It came down to Blue vs Taurtis. Blue predicted his actions and dodged, but knew that he knew she could read his thoughts. Slowly she decided that it was now or never, and took a swing. Taurtis cranked his arm back and sent her flying with a final punch. Letting out a breath that he didn't know he was holding in.

(Sam's P.O.V)

"THE DEMOLITION TEAM WINS! GOOD JOB MAGGOTS," Rowan, as well as everyone else was back and the scenery around them started to disappear returning to the open field.

"Good... Fighting.... Skills.... Guys," PinkBoss said in between pants.

"Are you okay?" Virgo asked.

"Fine.... Just a little tired.... That's all," Sweat dripped down her forehead.

"Oh, by the way, you all passed. Every good fighting and dodging skills. A little improvement needed, but still very well for beginners," she added.

"Sis! Couldn't you have made my powers work in their," the boy with the dark brown hair pouted.

"I'm sorry DinoBoy, but I was too tired just keep up with all the action," she said.

"But I was the first, on my team, to die!" He said.

"I'm sorry, but I can't interfere with the battle," PinkBoss shrugged.

"It's ok, you'll get better," Blue said, trying to cheer him up.

It was obvious that DinoBoy had skipped a couple grades, he looked to be no older than 12.

"Don't worry, I'll try hard, I won't hold this team back," he smiled at Blue, before turning to PinkBoss and sticking his tongue out at her, running away before she could react.

"He's adorable," I said.

"Yah, he's only 11, skipped a couple grades because he wanted to," PinkBoss shock her head, as if not approving of her brother's choice, but at the same time not telling him what he should and should not do.

(RING!RING!RING!)

"Oh, that's the bell, bye guys," Virgo said.

"Umm... Bye," PinkBoss said before running off.

"Dom." "Ashley," they both simply said, keeping it civil, before walking off in different directions.

"Well, see you guys tomorrow," Blue waved.

"I have to go find Grian now, so bye," J walked off.

"Good job," I nodded to Taurtis.

"Yah, I was hot wasn't I," He smirked.

I nodded, "Maybe I'll reward you later, just maybe."
