L-O-V-E'S just another word I never learned to pronounce...
The song ended and I had the next song I wanted to listen to cued up on another tab, but conveniently, it came up right after the first.
I've got a dirty mind, I got filthy ways...
But... like almost every good things, this was ruined. My phone began to ring, and my new boss's voice soon filled my ear.
"Cali? I need you to come in a little earlier. I want you to meet the boys. Is that okay?"
I was already getting ready to leave. I was almost ready, but I wasn't leaving any time soon. "How much sooner?" I asked.
"Thirty minutes or so?"
"That is do-able, yeah." I said.
"Great, because I'm leaving, and the boys haven't eaten yet. Can you swing by somewhere and pick them up a salad or something?"
"Yeah!" I said, grabbing my clip and pinning my unruly, curly brown hair up. I had put the phone on speaker.
"You're truly a life saver... I won't be here when you arrive, so just make yourself at home with the boys. They shouldn't be any trouble."
"Okay..." I said.
"Bye, Cali." my boss hung up and I set my phone in my pocket, grabbing my car keys and jacket before running outside.
-------------------
"Luke..." I said, handing the blonde boy his salad.
He took it, smiling gratefully and I set the now empty bag down and sat on the arm of the couch.
It was quiet while they ate and they made small chat amongst themselves.
"Okay, boys! I'll be back in... Oh, hi, Cali!" my boss walked in, smiling at me.
"Hi, Regine..." I said, giving her a small smile.
She looked at the four boys who had taken up sitting on the floor and eating. "I'll be back. Treat the girl with the same respect you give me. Do you understand me?" she said.
The four boys nodded.
Why is she treating them like kids?
"Good... I'll see you when I get back from the four week meeting. I'll be in New York, so we'll meet there when you get there with your tour." And with that, she left.
I was about to ask why she had spoke to them like little kids. But then Luke jumped up and shouted, "GET HER!!!"
The other three jumped up and ran to the couch and grabbed water guns from behind it.
"Wait...! WHAT!?" I yelled, trying to comprehend what had just happened in the matter of two seconds. Then I was being shot at with water.
I screamed and squealed, throwing my arms, and even my knees up to try and block them. It was no use, and then I fell backwards, landing on my back with a thud.
The four boys were relentless as they laughed and continued to spray me.
Looking up, I spotted a fifth water gun, and smirked, grabbing it. But to my disappointment, it was empty. Or so I thought. The safety switch was flipped, and I turned it off, shooting the four older, taller boys in front of me.
"SHE FOUND THE EXTRA ONE!!! RETREAT! RETREAT!!!!" Calum yelled.
Then, they all ran passed me and into connecting rooms.
I carefully stalked after them. "You guys are wusses!" I called, stepping into the first connecting room.
"So you think!" Ashton called back, popping up from behind the couch to shoot me, but I dodged and shot at him, hitting him in the cheek. "I'VE BEEN HIT!" He yells, falling back to the floor, behind the couch.
