"Can you chill because you and everyone else know I am always there for Layla" I told Lauren

Lauren the most beautiful woman on this planet. She is my ex friend with benefits. One day we got caught up and forgot protection so here Layla is. I love her more than anything. I just want Lauren to give me a chance to date her. We would be a beautiful family if we weren't separated.

"Can you put Layla to bed I have to take this phone call" she says while her phone goes off

I nod and carry Layla to her room. Her room had pink colored walls and pictures of me and Lauren on her wall. I smile looking at all the memories in the room.

"Layla why so many pictures" I ask out of curiosity

"You guys are my family" she says

"Why aren't you and mommy together" she ask in that innocent voice that always breaks my heart

"I don't know but I love your mommy"

Lauren POV

I was listen to y/n conversation with Layla. I love y/n too but I just don't want our relationship to end badly especially with Layla in the equation. I'm terrified to date y/n that's why we became friends with benefits. I'm scared of commitment with y/n.

"Oh Lauren I'm sorry I was just leaving" y/n said walking out kayla's room

"I will walk you out" I say not wanting her to leave

When we got to her car she turned around and she was so close to me. I noticed her staring at my lips but she caught herself.

"I should go " she says turning and I grab her wrist. She turns around confused. I grab her hands and move them to my waist. I then wrap my arms around her neck. Taking in this moment is staring into each other's eyes. I lean into her placing my lips on her. She kissed back and the feeling felt so familiar. Our lips moved in sync and I didn't want this moment to end. Air soon became a problem. I rest my head on her chest.

" I love you too" I say filling the silents. She kiss my forehead and I continued listening to her heart beat. It was calming.

"Go on a date with me" she spoke

"I would love nothing more"

"Bye Lauren" she says and gets in her car. She waves before driving off.
