Texting

Whenever I'm texting someone, I don't really think twice about it. I get a message, I read it, I reply, then I either put down my phone or mess around on it until whoever I'm messaging replies back. I always thought of it as just that; me picking up and putting down my phone while they reply back or the little <(...) thing pops up to show they're typing. Nothing more.
But I've suddenly had a thought.
If I'm doing that when they're texting me, do they do the same thing when messaging me? Am I a cause for someone to pick up their phone and take a minute or two to message me back. Am I a cause of someone going quiet in a room of people talking while they reply to my stupid message? Am I talked about to other people because I maybe said something funny? Do people stare at their phone and refresh the page whilst eagerly waiting my reply? Am I worthy of such a thing??!?!
I don't know about you guys, but I find this amazing. I could be the cause of someone's smile and I wouldn't know it. It's crazy and amazing.
