Chapter 10: Another problem?

ARRG. I have the perfect song for the end chapter! I can't write it yet but I keep imagining it in my head. Any other writers out there have that problem?



Mitch's P.O.V.



"You lost the map?" I asked. He scratched the back of his head.

"I-I guess when we were running it fell out of my bag." Jerome replied. I sighed.

"Well now what?" I asked throwing my hands up in the air.

"Find another map?" Tyler suggested.

"Well. Where would we even find that?!" Adam exclaimed annoyed.

"I don't know..." Tyler muttered. Adam's face softened.

"Dude, i'm sorry for snapping at you. It's just this whole thing has been utter shit and..." Adam said trailing off.

"Adam whats wrong?" Ammy asked.

"It's Natalie... I don't know if she made it." Adam said sitting down on the curb. He put his head in his hands.

"Man she's a strong girl. She's probably off in a small group right now killing zombies as we speak." Jason chipped in. I laughed and nodded.

"She's even probably on her way to see the fireflies." I added. 

"Yea but what if she isn't?" Adam retorted getting up. "Lets just find out where to go." 

"All I remember was it was west." Jerome told us. 

"What are we waiting for then? Lezzgo!" Jordan shouted. She started walking in a random direction.

"On problem." Tyler called out to her. She spun around and raised an eyebrow.

"Yes?" Jordan asked.

"Which way is west?" I asked. She groaned.

"I GOT THE POWER!" Ellie shouted holding up her phone.

"Isn't it dead yet?" Ammy asked. Ellie grinned.

"Nope I have a phone charger. I CAN SURVIVE. Also it has a compass." She said shrugging.

"Lead the way." Jerome said. Ellie started walking to what I assumed was west and we all followed.

"I hope this is the right way..." Ty muttered to me. I smiled and chuckled. 

"Me too. Or else this whole things for nothing..." I replied.

"Its not for nothing man. You can save everyone from this apocalypse." Ty retorted. I shrugged and kept walking.

~Skipping the fucking walking cause you all know I suck at that xD~

"What the... a beach!?" Adam exclaimed. I gaped as we walked up to the shore. A big box was laying tipped over near the waves. It wasn't going anywhere.

"C'mon lets see if it has a clue on where to go next!" Ammy cheered pulling Ellie over with her. I moved my hand closer to the gun and examined the box more closely. You never know what could be in here...

"There's empty maps... water bottles... c'mon something helpful? Aha!" Ellie shouted grinning. She moved the object behind her back and smirked.

"Now what did you find?" I asked. She grinned as she slowly brought it up.

"El Diablo!" She shouted firing a shot into the air. I face palmed. 

"Why the hell are we letting her use that?" Jerome asked. Ammy scoffed.

"Well its better than you with a machine gun." Ammy retorted. Jerome mimicked her in a high voice and they bickered back and fourth.

"GUYS. SHUT THE HELL UP!" Tyler yelled. I flinched, not really expecting Tyler to yell. Ammy and Jerome immediately shut up. 

"Sorry." Ammy muttered. 

"Tyler are you okay?" Jordan asked. He grumbled something and walked away. I walked over to Ellie and pulled her aside from the group.
