Chapter 3: Bacca!

Mitch's P.O.V.

 I walked into the kitchen and made sure no one was around. I rolled up my jeans and took a look at the bite. It didn't seem any worse or any better. I sighed and rolled my jeans back down.

"Seems you are immune." Ammy said scaring the hell out of me.

"How long have you been standing there?" I asked. "I made sure no one was watching."

"Ah you know. Just being a ninja has its perks." She said walking away. I rolled my eyes. 

"Grab anything you want or need. We're getting ready to leave." Adam called out. I grabbed a bag and started ransacking the fridge. 

"I got the food!" I called. 

"Searching the basement again!" Jason called out.

"Everyone else either help upstairs or keep looking around." I heard Ellie say. I finished up the fridge and put the bag down near the door. I walked around and saw the bathroom. I opened some cabinets.

"Guys! I found medicine." I called out grabbing most of what I could carry. 

"Okay. Someone go get the medicine with Mitch." Aeri replied. 

"I'll do it." Ty said. A few seconds later Ty came around with the bag.

"How's your arm?" I asked putting the stuff in the bag.

"Better I guess. I can at least move it without any pain now." He replied zipping the bag up. I took a look at some of the medicine. I tossed him a container. He took a look at the container.

"Thanks Mitch." He said. I nodded and opened the mirror up. Cough drops... nothing else really good. I walked back into the living room and a few of us were waiting.

"We got some ammo." Jason said. 

"Meds. Not much though." I said sitting down. Ammy came in with a grin.

"I found... A FREAKIN GAMEBOY." She said holding it up in victory. "With pokemon!"

"Is it even charged?" Jason asked. She flipped the switch and I heard the little ding it always made.

"Now that sound brings back memories." I said smiling. I used to love playing pokemon with Ellie...

"If it isn't charged I have the charger." She said turning it off and wrapping it up in the cord.

"We ready?" Adam asked walking downstairs. I did a quick head count and made sure everyone was here. I half expected to see my best bud for some reason but I remembered he didn't come with us...

"Yea lezzgo." Ammy said grabbing a backpack. I stood up and grabbed one as well.

"Now lead the way Ammy." Ellie said motioning for her to go first.

"Guns ready and loaded first?" She asked. 

"Yea." Everyone chorused. 

"Wait." I said quickly dashing back into the kitchen. I rummaged through the drawers until I found what I was looking for. I smirked and walked back in while holding the object behind me.

"Knives!" I shouted holding them out in front of me. 

"Fuck yea!" Ty cheered. I handed each of them one. 

"Now lets go." Ammy said opening the door slowly. There was a few zombies lurking in the streets.

"Stealth or go apeshit?" Aeri asked.
