When we got out of the secret passage, we went to the lower part of the building which wasn't that nobly anymore. Down here were a lot of pople as well. More than you'd see at the upper parts of the building. I waited for a moment nobody could hear us and asked Anne how it could possibly help my mother if I worked down here. She said it was important for me not to get in danger. But honestly...this wasn't the safest place to hide from August who pretendet to be Mr. Robert at our school. What would be if he recognized me? I considered all of that until we finally stood in front of a little door. Anne knocked and a daintily girl opened us. She curtseyed deeply. Something I didn't understand until she adressed Anne with "My Lady". She looked at me inquisitively but said nothing. The dog said needleesly that I was new and needed work. "You can start as a wench right now. By the way, I'm Liv, what's your name?" Anne had told me not to say my real name if anyone asked what my name was. So I told Liv to call me Laura and she was statisfied with that. I got a bed and my clothing for work. After a long introduction I had to start working.
