Perfect World

If the world was perfect,
We would have sun shine every day.
There would be no storms,
And no such thing as decay.

If the world was perfect,
No one would be sick.
Books would only be fairytales,
With no such thing as conflict.

If the world was perfect,
There would be no tears.
No monsters under your bed,
Since there are no fears.

If the world was perfect,
All there would be was love.
No loathing and hatred,
No body to shove.

If the world was perfect,
We would not ask for more.
Everyone would agree,
With no sign of war.

If the world was perfect,
Everyone could hear, speak, and see.
But if the world was like that,
We would take it for granted, wouldn't we?
