Okay, so let's take it back a bit and go back to my first year to the sorting.
I'm standing in front of all the new first years. I was confident and ready to be sorted. An old woman stood in front of us, she introduced herself to us as Professor Mcgonnagal, Head of Gryffindor House. I come from a quite wealthy pure-blood family. I definitely wasn't new to some of the other first years. I spent most of my childhood with my best friend Draco Malfoy and everybody knew it. Harry Potter was going to Hogwarts this year. The boy who lived was back in the wizarding world 11 years after the death of his parents when he was a baby. Draco went to politely introduce himself and the little git started getting all cocky and arrogant. I was planning on doing the same, but I decided not to mess with the bastard.
Mcgonnagal led us into the great hall. I heard gasps from other students as they looked at the enchanted ceiling, but Draco and I looked up and then put our heads down bored as we had a much bigger and grander enchanted ceiling in both of our houses. I frequently was over at Malfoy Manor and Draco was frequently found in the White Estate right next door.
The Professor finally led us to the front of the hall. Dumbledore made a short unimportant announcement and allowed McGonnagle to start the sorting. She picked up the worn hat off the chair and called the first name on her list, "Margaret Aberton," the sorting hat sat on her head for as little as 10 seconds and announced "RAVENCLAW!" The Ravenclaw table clapped. I stood emotionless. About 10 names later, Mcgonnagle called out, "Hermione Granger," my face as well as Draco's turned into a look of displeasure as the frizzy haired girl walked forward. "That little mud blood," I whispered to Draco. He nodded approvingly. The sorting hat sat on Granger's head FOREVER until it finally called out "GRYFFINDOR!" The table cheered, but I just rolled my eyes. Some more boring sorting until, the Professor spoke "Harry Potter," the whole hall became silent. "Git," Draco muttered under his breath, I laughed lightly. The sorting hat definitely taken a liking to the Potter boy because it sat on his head for some time! The sorting hat yelled "GRYFFINDOR!" After agonizing minutes of his sorting the Gryffindor table cheered. Then some more time passed as Mcgonnagal said "Draco Malfoy." My best friend walked up there like he owned the place and sat down on the chair. The hat barely touched his head when it yelled "SLYTHERIN!" I cheered and smiled vividly as Draco sat down, the other Slytherin's congratulating him. Moments later my name was called, I heard Professor Mcgonnagal say, "Vera White." I walked up to the stage with a strut and my head held high and my dirty blonde hair waving behind me. I could feel Draco smirking at me from a mile away. I sat on the chair as the teacher placed the sorting hat on my head. "Hmm..." I heard it speak to me reading all my thoughts, "Ah, here you are very smart! Oh! I see some arrogance and a lust for the top! I can see you are very competitive but very brave as well!" I thought in my head, I HAVE to be in Slytherin. It's where I belong! I would already be popular because of my family name and my blood-status plus I was best friends with Draco Malfoy my life in that house was set! The sorting hat read my thoughts and said "Well, if you look at it that way, you do have more traits of a Slytherin rather than a Gryffindor. That blonde hair with your pale complexion. Alright then,  better be SLYTHERIN!!!" The sorting hat bellowed. I stood up from the chair, the worried lines from my face disappearing into the brightest smile I've ever seen myself give. I run over to the Slytherin table and sit next to Draco, the rest of the Slytherin's congratulated me and shook my hand. One girl sat next to me and introduced herself, "Hello, my (exaggerating the word myyyyy) name is Pansy Parkinson. I heard that you and Draco darling are best friends. Well, I hope he doesn't mean anything special to you because he IS my boyfriend." She said briskly and got up off the bench and returned to the chattering group of first year girls she was sitting with. "Well that was weird," I said loud enough for Draco to hear me. "Who is she? Why was she talking to you?" He said. "Her name is Pansy Parkinson and she is claiming to be your girlfriend." I say with a disgusted look on my face. A rat was prettier than that girl's face. Draco's smirk turned into a very annoyed looking face. "She's been pestering me all the way from when we boarded to now! That annoying little git of a girl! She won't go away! She's telling everyone how amazing our relationship is when I just met her! And I HATE her! Such a clingy girl. Ugh!"he says shivering. Draco stays imitating Pansy's attempts to be flirtatious and I laugh my head off as he says, "Oh, Draco darling don't you remember all those wonderful summers we spent together at Parkinson House?" He says in a very high pitched girly voice. I point to him and laugh as hard as I can "HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD DRACO STOPPP!!!!!!! I CANTTT!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!!!! I CANT..... HAHAH BREATH!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!" I manage to pull out the words through my horrid laughter. My face turned red and my eyes go teary from all the laughing I just did. Phew! Difficult I thought.
The next day I woke up in my door and woke up earlier than all the girls and decided to go down to the common rooms. There was nobody else there except for me... And also Vincent Crabbe. Ugh. "So, Crabbe, when are you planning on eating your namesake?" I said sarcastically, "Anytime soon?" I laughed evilly. Crabbe just stared at me trying to process what I just said. He was way to dumb for any jokes. "Snap out of it Vincent or you'll be spending your day doing detention with Mcgonnagal for day-dreaming!" I spat.
At that moment Draco came in and said good morning and then he asked me, "Vera, why was that hat taking so long on your head. It took almost as long as that git Potter's." He asked. I answered, "Mocking me," I said with a smirk. Of course, I wasn't being truthful! If I hadn't put in my thoughts I would probably be sitting in the Gryffindor Common Room instead of the the Slytherin one. I could've been the enemy now and Draco, my best friend, would never talk to me again. I'd be a blood-traitor it was obvious!
After breakfast at the Great Hall was over I was headed to my first class, but only 5 of the other Slytherin's were in it. I casually walked talking to Draco, but breaking apart with him when he headed to his class. I strolled down the corridor s had no other choice but to put you in geeky Gryffindor! Home of the outcasts!" I spat. Harry started trying to defend himself, but he was pushed aside by Hermione Granger who started to speak, but I interrupted her. " And you! You filthy mud blood! You're worth nothing! How could you come to Hogwarts! You should've never gotten powers. A HALF-BLOOD deserves more powers than YOU! You are a disgrace to the wizarding world! I heard Potter say he thinks you're annoying along with the Weasley boy!" I say squinting my eyes for effect. "Why do you bother hanging around Harry Potter and Weasel if they don't even like you! But I guess you think it's an HONOR to be friends with HIM but they don't like your company and the whole Gryffindor house isn't telling you because they're afraid to hurt your precious feelings! So do yourself a favor and get out of the wizarding world." I finished calmly walking over to take a seat next to Pansy Parkinson trying to ignore her but try to act cool and collected and start a "conversation," with her and act popular. Moments later Professor Snape burst into the classroom and stared at Potter and Granger and said, "What do you think you're doing standing idly! Are you waiting for me to give you detention?! Get your behinds into a chair immediately." He stands in the front of the classroom observing everybody. I hold my head high making sure my Slytherin tie is very visible from my uniform. He quickly writes down our seating chart and we list our names in order for him to calculate this. He finally starts talking, "my name is Professor Snape I am Head of Slytherin house," a smile became visible on my face, "and your Potions teacher this year." I already liked him. "Please open your textbooks to page 385 and start reading silently up until page 401. You have a 1-page essay due next class on this topic." The class starts reading the books. Hermione and I exchange hateful glances and I gave a satisfied smirk showing I was happy they got what they deserved. Surely the the Slytherins in the class would blab to their friends and it would get to Draco by lunch. I was sure it would get to him warped and exaggerated...
Lunch came and I sat in between Draco and Crabbe. Draco quickly brings the topic to potions. I knew where he was going with this. "So Vere, I heard you pulled quite the stunt before Snape arrived," he said with a smiling smirk-ish face. "I didn't pull a stunt I simply had the opportunity to give those mud bloods and blood traitors a little piece of my mind and made it quite clear to them I was going to try to destroy their lives!" I said joyfully in a childish voice like I mean no harm in the world. Draco starts laughing hysterically while Crabbe again sits confused trying to decipher the joke. Who could really be that dumb? I thought. Never mind then, my family had connections at the Ministry as well as Draco's and we were allowed as first years to make a trip to the village of Hogsmeade with all the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th years. So, of course we bragged to the rest of Slytherin who then went on to tell the rest of the first years who told their siblings and in a day the whole school knew and whispered excitedly as Draco and I walked into the great hall.
The next day, we set off for Hogsmeade and the first thing we really wanted was a nice butter-beer for our taste buds to enjoy. We head down to the Three Broomsticks and I spot that familiar unruly black hair that would stick up at the back no matter what. I saw that big frizzy uncombed brown hair and a fiery red flame popping up next to them. I gasped slightly, Draco gave me a questioning look and I pointed to the bunch. Draco's jaw just dropped, "Potter, Weasle, Grangbage are here?!?!" He asked in disbelief. The jaw dropped face quickly turned into an evil smile asking me to follow him. I was pleased to do so and Draco and I changed our expression to obnoxious smirks. We casually walk by the table pretending to laugh and then stop as we see them. I can see their profiles getting tense as we stop behind them. "Is that Potter?" Draco spat. "I think so and who is that with him I see? Grangbage and Weasle?!" I ask sarcastically. Draco gives a heavy laugh. We walk in front of the table facing the bunch. They're sitting with angry faces. Draco and I are wearing a heavy smirk. "Is that the best you've got?! Grangbage and Weasle?! Well look t you White! Your last name must be your name sake because your pale as a paper! You couldn't get a tan for your life!!!" She yelled smiling at the others feeling proud of herself. "A... What? A... A a... Tan?!" Draco breaks out laughing with me, "what is that?! Some muggle activity?!! You nasty mud blood!!!" At this point Draco can barely stand he's laughing so hard. Grangbage is blushing with embarrassment. I walk away from their table dragging Draco with me. I pick up our butter beers and take them to go. As I'm walking to the door I stop gain at their table and in a monotonous Snape-like voice I say, "Regrettable decisions," I walk out with Draco without another word. The second we get out the door and around the corner, Draco and I start cracking up and I mean a LOT. We were practically on the floor our faces were red and our eyes were watering from laughing so much. When we calmed down a bit I said, "Draco, we couldn't just walk away, we didn't get them in trouble! Give me some parchment an a quill and ink I need to write a letter. And I need a picture for proof!" We found a daily prophet photographer and bribed him with 2 galleons to go and take a picture of Potter, Weasle, and Grangbage. As he went inside 3 Broomsticks, I wrote my letter.
Dear Headmaster Dumbledore,
Draco Malfoy and I were in Hogsmeade on an authorized trip. We went into Three Broomsticks and spotted that Harry Potter, Hermione Grangebage, I mean Granger, and Ronald Weasley were sitting at a table being served butterbeers. We are not known tattle-tales, but we fear for the safety of our fellow classmates. We would just like to report this to you with the proof of a picture. We hope you make sure this does not happen again.
Thank you,
Vera White
Slytherin House: 1st year

Done! I clipped the picture the reporter had brought back and tied the letter to my owl Clara's leg. She flew away quickly and I stood smiling watching her beautiful white wings fly away.
After shopping at Honeydukes and trying on expensive robes and buying an extra robe for each of us we headed back to Hogwarts.
When we got back we were greeted by Dumbledore, "Ms. White and Mr. Malfoy, it has come to my attention that you caught 3 first-year students who were unauthorized to go to Hogsmeade, at the Three Broomsticks... And you sent proof. Is that true?" His face looked like he was waiting to give a clever answer to whatever we said. I cleared my throat and glanced at Draco, "Yes, Headmaster Dumbledore, we as students are very concerned with the safety of our peers. We were authorized to go to Hogsmeade, but we were horrified when we saw Harry Potter, Hermione Grangeba... Uh sorry Granger, and Ronald Weasle...ey. That is to be exact." I specified with a smirk. "Hmm. Mr. Malfoy, anything you would like to add?" He asked sarcastically. Draco laughed and said, "Of course, unauthorized students should not be allowed to go to Hogsmeade. In fact, how DID Harry Potter and his friends manage to sneak out of Hogwarts. Are you letting the school's guard down... Professor? Because it would be a shame. My father will be hearing about this!" Draco proclaimed. I smirked and pretended to be busy examining my cuticles. "Very well, the accused students will be spoken to." He concluded. "That's it!"Draco and I yelled in unison. "A Slytherin stays out 5 minutes after curfew and gets nine detentions, but a Gryffindor sneaks out of Hogwarts and they just get..." I was so pissed Draco had to finish my sentence, "Talked to!" He exclaimed. "It's outrageous! My mother AND father will be hearing about this. Draco's as well, Dumbledore." I sneered and turned my head in fury storming away from the head master and grabbing Draco's arm to follow behind me.
The next day in the Great Hall at breakfast, Weasle, headed toward us. Pansy and I were in the middle of an argument and Weasle just ruined it all. I didn't even see him, but Pansy actually did. "Weasel, what are you doing here you blood traitor your dirty blood is bringing filth to the Slytherin table." She exclaimed. Weasel narrowed his eyes and turned his head to me. "White, I need to speak to you in private." He said. I was surprised by his statement and I just replied, "NO! You're an idiot Weasle! Why would I talk to YOU?! I'd rather talk to that mud blood GRANGER rather than you!!" I laughed and screamed. Pansy, had the brains to back me up and started laughing with me. Ron's face turned red, "FINE! You want to speak to Granger?! You'll speak to 'that mud blood GRANGER!!!'" He yelled. "W-w-wait! WEASEL NO! You come back here!" I ran after him but he disappeared.

This was a really long chapter and I'm trying to find the direction I wanna go in still but I hope you like it so far😘😘
