We arrived at a small restaurant called 'sweet teas'

Demi looked at me and smiled and squeezed my hand for support.

My friends make me feel so much better it doesn't even feel like Jeremy even hurt me anymore.

We walked inside and the hostess brought us to a table. She asked what we wanted for a drink.

Madison said Dr. Pepper, Thania asked for the same, and me and Demi got Root Beer.

The waitress left to get our drinks.

We all say there in silence, not an awkward silence, but still a little uncomfortable.

"Hey clara?" Demi asked.

I looked at her and raised my eyebrows as if to say 'what?'

"I know you are happy now even tho your nose still smells like boogers..." I laughed at Demi's humor. That's what I loved about her. Even when she was being serious she would show off her wit.

"... But why is Jeremy your enemy?"

I sucked in my breath, shocked, at what she asked.

I could tell she felt bad about asking, and I don't mind really. I think she should know.

Thania, seeing that I didn't really know what to say, started to talk for me.

"So Jeremy was always the annoying kid in school. And you probably know how much Clara hates annoying kinds of people. Well, one day in kindergarten, Jeremy being is obnoxious self, he walked up to Clara. She wasn't very happy to see him.

"He hit her. Right in the face. He wanted the attention but Clara just thought he was being stupid. He grabbed a pair of scissors and cut off a chunk of her hair." Thania explained.

I sighed with a sad smile. "Yeah, then he cut off another chunk and I kicked him when he cut off another strand I started to cry and tried to get away. But he held me tightly. He cut of all my hair until I had super short hair. Like, a very uneven guy hair cut. I was SOO mad at him." I said. Demi hugged me then let go so I could go on with the rest of my story.

I started again. "Then he kicked me and said 'you look 100 times better now, but you would look even better I'd you were gushing out blood''. And so that is exactly what I did. He got me so upset." I sighed. "You know that point when I had started cutting for that short amount of time?" I asked Demi.

"Yeah..." She answered.

"Well, that was why. Jeremy had made me started feeling so self conscious about myself, I had cut at such a young age." I said and wiped a tear away.

It was true, this was only kindergarten when I started cutting. Usually a kid that age doesn't even know what that is or if people do it.

"Sorry I never told told you Demi, I really am. But I didn't want you to get mad at him and get in trouble. I mean, you only knew who he was until recently. I'm sorry, it was in kindergarten though." I wiped away another tear and Demi pulled me into a hug.

She stroked my hair, knowing that had always calmed me down. We saw the food coming and we released from the hug. I wiped away my last tears and sat up straight.

She waitress set the food on the table. She left and we dug in.

I didn't notice that crying made me so hungry.

Madison rubbed my shoulder and Thania smiled at me. Demi rubbed my back.

I really did have the best friends in the world didn't i?
