When we arrived at my house, Demi got right out of the car and slammed the door. She walked right up to the door and waited, she didn't have the key.

I don't want Demi to leave, she was supposed to stay for 1 more week. Ugh! why does my life have to be so frustrating?!! Wait, who am I one to speak? Demi is the one who is world famous here!!

I sighed. Thania and Madison had noticed Demi and I's odd behavior. I felt bad though because now they feel awkward. I walked up the steps to my porch and shoved the key angrily into the key hole. I unlocked the door and opened it.

Demi walked quickly inside and locked herself in the bathroom. Madison and Thania knew better than to ask, so they headed into the kitchen.

I sighed. This was going to be a looong day.

*************

I was sitting cris-cross on my bed, writing in my diary. Someone lightly knocked on my door then peeked their head in. It was Demi. I waved her into my room and she came in and sat on my bed.

She didn't say anything. She just starred at my confuter with that distant look in her eye that I hated so.

"Demi I know that look".

She just looked at me and cocked her head.

"Demi, the last time I saw that distant look in you eye was when you moved." I told her

She sighed. "Clara, we just met up again, I don't want to go- I'm not ready to go yet." She said on the verge of tears.

I sighed yet again and reached over to wrap my arms around her. She fell into the embrace and held me tightly. I felt her sob into my shoulder, bringing back memories.

I stroked her hair as she clutched mine.

After a while I pulled out of the hug and said "you know you were going to leave soon anyway.''

"Well yeah, but I was supposed to leave in a week." She cried. "Now tomorrow is my last day, I leave early morning the day after.''

I didn't know what to say so I just pulled her into another hug.

We sobbed in each others shoulder for what seemed like forever. "I don't want you to leave either, Demi" I said into her hair.

She tightened her grip on my hair, sobbing even harder.
After a few more minutes she let go and looked me in the eye.

"Clara, I can't leave you, not again. I'm not ready. You are my best friend and I hate how we lost connection last time. What if it happens again?" she said, tear streaming down her face.

''I promise we won't lose touch this time, I promise."

Demi grabbed my diary from beside me and opened it. She began to scribble in it with my feathered pen.

When she handed it to me, I saw that it contained her address, her fan mail address and her phone number again for just in case. She grabbed my phone again to make sure her number was in there.

Then she double checked her own for just in case.

She put all the items down and out her hands in her lap. We just starred at each other for what seemed like forever.

Tear began to stream down both of our faces, yet neither of us moved an inch. With that, we both fave in and fell into each others arms yet again.

We sobbed loudly into each others shoulders. We just let it all out.

I'll miss you Demi.
