1 Week Later
Dan's POV
It's been one week since Jemma got into the coma. Every day, I stop by the hospital and record my videos there. It makes me feel better knowing that Jemma is ok. I usually bring the kids with me, and they sometimes play minecraft with me, in my videos. I always hug Jemma before I leave. This week has been horrible without her. I miss her so much. I'm sure that Ellie and Darcie miss her just as much as me. So do Sadie and Brady.
*Timeskip To The Afternoon*
"Time to go see Jemma," I say to Sadie and Brady, and they run downstairs. "I hope she's out of her coma soon," Sadie says. "Me too," I reply, and we drive to the hospital. I record a mod showcase, starring Sadie and Brady. When the video is over, I quickly edit it. When that's done, I walk over to Jemma, crying. The kids are behind me, also crying. "Jemma, please wake up," I whisper, "we miss you, please, please wake up." We hug her.
Jemma's POV
Dan has been coming here everyday with the kids to record videos. Them being here makes me feel less alone, and when they hug me it reminds me that they still love me. They hug me, and I desperately want to hug them back. I know that it won't work, but I try anyway. My arms don't move. I try again, and this time my arms wrap around Dan. Wait, am I out of my coma? "Dan?" I croak. He gasps. "Jemma!" He shrieks, kissing me. I smile. "Mum!" The kids yell, and they all squeeze me. "Thank god your ok," Dan whispers, and the doctor comes running in. "Everything ok?" He asks. Dan squeezes my hand. "Jemma's out of her coma!" He shrieks excitedly. "Omg, that's great," the doctor says sarcastically, "just great." He rolls his eyes. What's wrong with him. "Omg babe, we missed you so much!" Dan yells, and kisses me again. "You do know that I could hear you, and feel you, right?" I ask. "What!?" He replies, startled. "Yeah. You guys being here made me feel less alone, and when you hugged me it reminded me that you still love me." "Aww Jem," Dan says, and they hug me again." "Um, she'll have to stay overnight," the doctor says. "Can we stay with her, overnight?" Dan asks. "Uh, yeah, sure, I guess," the doctor replies.
*Timeskip To Nighttime*
Doctor's POV
That girl is finally out of her coma. I'm happy, because she's so pretty. Even though I'm married, this girl is way prettier than my wife. But her stupid husband is here. What a jerk!
Dan's POV
*Yawn* I'm so tired. Today was a rough day, but Jemma got out of her coma!! I'm so happy. "I'm going to kill the idiot who did that to you," I say, and she smiles. "No, I'll do it dad," Sadie says, and we all laugh. "You guys are the best," Jemma says to us, smiling, and I kiss her. "You know, Ellie and Darcie really missed you, Jem," I say to her. "Aww, I can't wait to see those cuties," she says, smiling. "I'm getting tired," I say. "Alright, we should probably get to bed, I'm sure that the kids are tired as well," she replies, and they yawn. She snuggles up to me, Sadie next to her and Brady next to me. I smile, and eventually we all fall asleep.
Jemma's POV
I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Everyone is still asleep, so I get up. My vision goes blurry, and I stumble backwards. A sharp pain runs through my leg. "Dan," I whisper. "Dan," I say again, this time louder. "Dan!" I scream, and he jolts awake. "Jem?" He asks, running over to me. "You ok?" "No, I think my disease is acting up," I say, almost falling. Dan catches me, and I smile. He walks with me over to the wall, and presses the button to contact the doctor. He puts his arm around me. "Hello, hello?" He says into the microphone. "What do you want?" The doctor snaps. "Jem's disease is acting up, could you come check on her?" Dan asks, worried. "No, I'm busy," the doctor replies. "Look, my wife is in pain, and you're her doctor. You have to come check on her, what if it's getting worse," Dan says to him, and I lean into Dan to steady myself. He kisses me quick on the forehead. "Don't worry Jem, your going to be fine," he whispers. "Look, I said I'm busy," the doctor says angrily, "I can't come right now." Dan presses the button again to turn it off. "Hey, I think I still have that other doctor's number, what was her name, Sharon, I think. I'll try and call her," Dan says pulling me closer to him. "Be quiet, ok," I say, "I don't want the kids to wake and get worried." "I'll try," he replies, and dials the number.
*Timeskip To Sharon Arriving*
Dan's POV
The door opens, and Sharon walks into Jem's room. "Thank God your here," I say to her, "Jem wasn't feeling too well, and we wanted to make sure that she was ok. Try not to be too loud though, as Sadie and Brady are sleeping and we don't want them to wake up and get worried." "Aww, I remember watching your vlog about them. My kids watch your videos all the time with me and my husband," she says to us. "Cool," I reply, and she takes Jem's blood pressure. "It's a little high, but other than that it's fine," the doctor says, "I'll just run some other tests on her, then I'll go. She's probably fine, but just in case." "Thank you so much," I say to Sharon. "Better safe than sorry, you know." "Yeah," Jemma replies, and I smile, knowing that she is feeling better. The doctor runs a few more tests. "She's fine, it was just acting up a little. It's not getting worse, don't worry," she says, and Jemma smiles.
The Next Day
Brady's POV
I wake up, and look over at mum, dad, and Sadie. They are peacefully sleeping. I thought I heard something last night, I'll probably ask mum and dad about it. Mum and dad wake up, stretching. "Hey Brade," dad says to me, using the nickname that he and mum made for me. He kisses me on the forehead. I smile, and mum does the same. They kiss each other, and I smile. They are so cute together. "What happened last night?" I ask them, "I though that I heard something, a noise of some sort." "Oh, um..." They say. They seem hesitant to tell me. "Mum wasn't feeling well last night," dad says to me, "her disease was acting up, so we called the doctor. We didn't want to wake you guys and have you be worried." "I completely understand," I say to them, "I probably would be worried about her, since she just got out of a coma and all." The smile, and Jemma ruffles my hair. "You and Sadie are great kids," she says to me, "the best that we could've ever asked for." I smile a huge smile, then Sadie wakes up. "Hey Sade," mum and dad say to her, "you're finally up." They kiss her on the forehead, and she giggles. "Shoot, you guys have school soon," dad says to us, and we get mum checked out so we can get ready.
