Part 25: Getting Out Of The Hospital

Jemma's POV
When we get home, Ellie and Darcie are on top of us, licking us like crazy. Dan and I are laughing so hard. "I'm glad to see you, too," I say to them, pushing Ellie off of me. "Come on girlies, you hungry?" Dan asks them, leading them to the kitchen. He pours some food into their dishes, and they gobble it up happily. "I hope Sadie and Brady will be ok overnight," I say to Dan. "I'm sure they'll be fine," he replies, "Mike will watch over Sadie, and probably Brady as well." "Hey, do Mike and Sadie remind you of us when we were younger?" I ask Dan, curiously. "Now that you mention it," he says, "yes actually. Young love. You know what, maybe someday they'll get married." "I wouldn't go that far," I reply, kissing him on the cheek, "but maybe. You never know." The pugs finish eating, and we walk upstairs with them right at our heels. They start to lick our feet, and Dan starts laughing again. He actually makes me laugh, and we run up the stairs with them chasing after us. I jump onto the bed, and they follow, landing next to me. I pet them, and Dan sits down next to me, smiling. He puts his arm around me. He pulls me towards him, and I lean on him. "I hope nothing else happens to Sadie and Brady," I say to him, concerned. "I'm sure they'll be fine," he replies, kissing me on the forehead. I sure hope so. "We should get to sleep, it's getting awfully late," I say, looking at the clock. "Ok," he replies, and I leave to go brush my teeth while he gets his pyjamas on. I come out in a few minutes, and he opens the door, leaving to let me do the same. I throw on my TDM pyjamas that I've had forever, and wait for Dan to finish getting ready. I check my phone while I wait. "Omg!" I scream, "Dan you hit 10,000,000 subscribers!!" I shout excitedly. "What!?" He replies, running out of the bathroom. "Look," I say, showing him my phone. He stares at it in awe. "Omg, that's so exciting!" He shrieks, hugging me, "I can't believe that 10,000,000 people actually watch my videos and have become my fans!" "Yeah, but no one loves you like I do," I say, and he kisses me. He yawns, and I do as well. "I'm so tired," I say, almost falling over. He catches me. "I'm feeling a little tired myself," he replies, "and I'll do a vlog about 10,000,000 subs tomorrow." "Sounds good," I say, pulling the covers back and laying down. Dan lays down next to me, and puts his arm around me, pulling the covers over us. I put me head on him and fall asleep to the rise and fall of his chest.
The Next Day
Dan's POV
I wake up, and stretch. I yawn, and notice that Jemma is still peacefully sleeping beside me. I get up to go feed Ellie and Darcie, cautious not to wake her up. I give them some kibble for breakfast, the usual, then make some teas and bagels for me and Jem. I will probably just bring them upstairs. When the puggies have finished eating I grab the teas and put some sugar in them. I then take the bagels and butter them. When I walk back upstairs, Jemma is awake, sitting up. "I was wondering where you were," she says to me, Did you feed the puggies?" She asks me. "Yup, all taken care of," I say, handing her a tea and bagel. She smiles, taking a bite of her bagel. She gives me a thumbs up, and takes a sip of her tea. "We should probably go to get Sadie and Brady out of the hospital soon," I say to her. "Sounds good," she replies, with her mouth full of bagel. We finish eating, then get dressed. Omg, I almost forgot that I hit 10,000,000 subscribers last night! I'll vlog about it later, when Sadie and Brady are home. We get into the car, and drive off to the hospital.
*Timeskip To Hospital*
We walk into their room, and Sadie and Mike are cuddling in her bed. Brady looks like he's still sleeping. I walk over to him, and poke his good arm. "Brade," I whisper, and he wakes up. "Hey dad," he replies groggily. "How are you doing?" I ask him. "Good," he replies, "my arm doesn't hurt that much anymore." "That's good," Jemma says, putting her arm around me. I smile at her. "How's your sister doing?" She asks. "Fine, her and Mike have been cuddling all morning," he replies. They really do remind me of me and Jem when we were younger. Deffo. We walk over to Sadie and Mike. "How are you doing, Sade?" I ask her. "Good," she replies, "Mike's been keeping me company." "That's good," Jemma says, "does your leg still hurt?" "Yeah, kind of," she replies, "it's still pretty bad. Mike's been taking care of me, though. He makes my leg feel better." Mike smiles and kisses her. I smile, and look down at Jemma, since she is slightly shorter than me. She is also smiling. "They're so cute," she whispers to me, and I give her a quick kiss. She blushes, and the doctor steps into the room. "They are all set to go home, but they can't go to school for a week" he says to us, "just give them some aspirin if they are in pain." "Sure thing," Jemma says to him. He wheels a wheelchair into the room. "Sadie will need to use this," he says, "she can't walk on her leg. Someone will need to wheel her around at all times." I help her into the wheelchair and Mike pushes her out of the room. Brady walks beside me and Jemma. We check them out of the hospital, then get in the car and drive home.

Jemma's POV
Sadie and Brady are finally home! I am so excited! Ellie and Darcie jump on top of them, licking them like crazy. "Calm down, girlies," I say to them. They must've really missed the kids. They then circle around Mike, sniffing his feet. I forgot that he never met them. "Wow," he says, "I can't believe I'm actually in DanTDM's house!" "Yep," I say to him. "You and Brady should probably get some rest, it's going to be a long week," Dan says to Sadie. She nods, and Brady does the same. "How will we get Sadie up the stairs?" I say to Dan. "I'll just carry her up," he replies, "I'm pretty strong." He lifts Sadie up and starts heading up the stairs. Mike turns towards the door. I stop him. "You can stay," I say to him, "We trust you to take care of Sadie. She will want you to be there for her. I know exactly how she feels." He turns around. "Really?" He asks, "Thank you! I'd love to stay with her, keep her company, you know." "Yep," I reply leading him upstairs to Sadie and Brady's room. Sadie is sit on the edge of her bed, playing minecraft. Mike sits down next to her, and kisses her on the cheek. She blushes, and I smile.
