Chapter 13

Bea's POV

I feel so blessed. Here I am. Having dinner with my family and the girl I love. I can't help but smile.

"Ano iniisip mo?" Si Maddie.

"Happy lang ako kasi I couldn't ask for more. Gustong gusto ka nila Daddy eh." I held her hand under the table.

"You think so?" Alangang tanong ni Maddie.

"I know so." I smiled at her.

"Maddie, kapag inaway ka nitong si Bea, sabihin mo agad sa akin." Singit ni Kuya Loel.

"Asa." Sagot ko at inirapan ko si Kuya.

"Nadagdagan ang babies ko." My mom smiled at Maddie. "Maddie, if ever you need anything don't hesitate to ask ha?"

"Yes, Tita. Thank you po."

"Maddie, you should come with Bea sa bahay na every Saturday para di ka mag isa sa dorm." Si daddy.

Tumingin sa akin si Maddie at pinisil ang kamay ko as if nagtatanong kung anong isasagot nya. I just nodder at her.

"Sure, Tito!"

"Mom, dad, maggogrocery pala kami ni Maddie after dito." Paalam ko.

"You need any help anak?" Tanong ni mommy.

"Di na ma, kaya na namin to. Matagal na namin tong ginagawa." She smiled.

"Kuha ka ng cereals. I'll go get milk." -Maddie

"Beaaaaaa!" Bigla akong niyakap ng babae. I didn't get the chance to see her face. Her hug was so tight that I couldn't even move.

Maddie's eyes widened. Gulat na gulat din sya.

"I missed you!" Said the girl and broke the hug.

"M-mika?"

"The one and only." She smiled.

"Long time no see ah?" Sabi ko nang makabawi.

"Ano na? Di ka na nagparamdam ah. Iniwan mo ako sa ere." She punched me on my arm.

"Err." Tanging nasagot ko. Tsaka ko lang naalala si Maddie sa likuran ko. I took her hand and pulled her closer. "Madz, si Mika." She smiled puzzledly.

"Hello! I'm bea's ex girlfriend!" Mika took Maddie in for a hug. Hindi ko makita ang mukha ni Maddie.

Maddie's POV

"I'm Bea's ex girlfriend!" Hinila nya ako at niyakap.

"Maddie." Pakilala ko nang pakawalan nya ako.

Sya ba yung sinasabi ni Bea dati na mahal nya pero nakipag break sya kasi hindi sya sure?

"So, Bea! Ano? Nakapag decide ka na? Tagal kitang hinintay ha?" Baling nya ulit kay Bea KO invalidating my whole existence.

"What?" Takang tanong ni Bea.

"Well duh, last time we talked sabi mo di ka sure. Sabi ko diba kapag nahanap mo dapat mong hanapin babalik ka sa akin?" She took out her phone and showed us her conversation with Bea dated months ago.

To: Bea💔:
Hi, baby! I'm going to sleep now. See you tomorrow, yeah? I love you 😘

From: Bea💔:
Let's break up. I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry. I'm just not sure of this... of us...

To: Bea💔:
Honestly? I don't know what to say. All I know is what we have (or should I say "had"?) is real. Go and find yourself. I'm setting you free but promise me that whenever you're sure of what you really want, please, Isabel Beatriz De Leon! Come back to me. I'll be here. I hate you 'cause I can't hate you. FML.
