Chapter 8 : Plus One

"well, that wasn't bad..." Abbe said as he and Nathaniel walked away. Nathaniel, in the midst of fear, said 

"Bad...you broke the bones of several guys back there. You dislocated so much shoulders that it looks like a trend. You are vicious...". 

Abbe smiled and cracked his fingers. 

"He doesn't know the half of it..." Abbe thought as they approach Lucia's house.

 Abbe knocked on her door. 

"This is my friend's house. Her name is...". 

Before Abbe can finish, Lucia open the door. 

"Luciana!!" Nathaniel shouted. 

"Nathalie!!" Lucia shouted. 

They hugged each other and laughed while Abbe stood there ,confused. 

"Am I missing something..." Abbe said as he watched them. 

"Me and Nathaniel are basically best friends since birth." Lucia said as she smiled at him and carried them inside. 

"oh alright...hold up... Birth?" Abbe said as he sat on the couch with them. 

"Well, yes birth. We were born on the same day, in the same hospital at almost the same time"

 "I'm older though" Nathaniel interrupted with a evil laugh. 

Lucia punched his shoulder and shouted "30 seconds!!". 

Nathaniel held his shoulder and laughed. 

"Anyways, we went to the same school, same class, same birthday parties. He was like my unofficial twin...without the good looks" Lucia said. 

Nathaniel and her got into a conversation while Abbe sat and played on his phone. Hours has passed and sunlight was becoming scarce. Abbe decided to leave. 

"Alright guys. I'll take my leave now. Good talk. " 

Abbe said as he got up and stretched. 

"yeah. Me and Abbe got guy stuff to do" 

Nathaniel said as he ran behind Abbe. 

"Yeah sure...guy stuff" Lucia said sarcastically. 

Nathaniel hugged her and walked out her door. Abbe stood in front of Lucia. Both looking at each other. 

"Nice of you to drop by, Peter. " Lucia said. 

"It was fun. You and your gay best friend over there were interesting" Abbe said.

 "I'm not gay!!" Nathaniel shouted from outside. 

They both laughed and looked at each other with a smile. 

"Uh...I should go" Abbe said as he turned around and got ready to leave. 

"...Abbe" Lucia said. 

"Yes Lucia ?" Abbe turned around and looked at her. 

Lucia opened her arms and looked at him. They both embrace each other. 

"Be safe peter" Lucia said softly. 

"I will..." Abbe respond. 

They hugged for a while,neither wanting to let go. Nathaniel cleared his throat obnoxiously to get their attention. 

"Oh uhh...you should get going peter" Lucia said as she let go. 

"Um..right. Next time Lucia" Abbe said as he walked away. 

Everyone said their goodbyes. While walking Nathaniel turned to Abbe with a smirk.

 "Someone has a crush...". 

Abbe sighed and ask "Do you even shut up ?". 

Nathaniel laughed and said "your secret is safe with me". 

Abbe smiled and continued walking home. When they reached Nathaniel kept on asking if he can stay over. Abbe agreed and entered the house. Nathaniel rushed home and packed his bag. Abbe sat on the couch with Casey whom was on her phone. 

He turned to her and said "Guess who's staying ?". 

Casey looked at him and sigh. 

Nathaniel rushed in and said enthusiastically "Hello fellow housemates"

 "just kill me now" Casey said as she sighed. 

Abbe laid on the couch and closed his eyes. 

"Nathan you stay with me out here and Casey you know where you are" he said as he rested his forearm on his eyes. 

"I've got a nickname!!!" Nathaniel shouted exciting. 

Casey looked at him and said "How homosexual can you be.."

 "I'm not gay" Nathaniel said as he rest his bag down. 

"Right.. Abbe protect your anus" Casey said as she walked away.

 "I was once an outcast now...I have two other people living in my house" Abbe thought to himself as he held the amulet and slept away.
