Chapter 5 : Confession

"There's more" Abbe said as he slipped a slight ominous laugh in. "There are five. Two were destroyed" Casey said as put on back her cowl. "I want to know more. Where were these from? how were they made? What do they do ?" Abbe asked persistently. "I'll tell you...next time" Casey said as she submerge into the shadows. "Wait where are you going ?" He asked but he got no response. He can no longer see her. He proceeded to walk after her but was stopped by a his phone. He took it out and got a message from Lucia. "I can't sleep. I'm bored" it read. "I'm on my way home. I'm not far from your house" Abbe responded.

 "Well, I'm bored and you're close to my house so.."

 "I'll be right over" Abbe responded and walked back to Lucia's house.

 When he arrived, he knocked and she came to the door in shorts and a T-shirt with the iconic Batman on it. "Wow..." Abbe said as he looked at her admiringly. "Gonna come inside or stay out here in the cold dark night ?" She asked as she blushed. "Umm right". Abbe entered and Lucia closed the door and went into the kitchen."Make yourself at home" She said from the kitchen. Abbe looked around her living room and sat on the couch that was next to a table full of comics. Abbe began looking through them with great fascination. Lucia then said "Want anything to drink or eat,Peter ?". Abbe ,confused, said "Peter ?". 

She then responded "Peter Parker A.K.A Spider-man"

 "Oh..I'm good thank you". As he answered, he looked at his hands and notice that he had small blood stains on his palms. 

Frantically, he asked "Lucia, where's the bathroom ?"

 "Down the hall, second door on your right"

 "Thank you" 

He rushed to the toilet and turned on the sink. He thoroughly washed his hands and looked in the mirror. He then looked closer and was shocked at what he discovered. His iris has small black spots that are perforating his brown color. He washed his face and close his eyes. He opened up again and hope for something to change but nothing did. He wiped his face in one of the towels and went back to the living room only to see Lucia, with her dorky yet adorable glasses, reading a Spider-man comic. Abbe stood for a second in Utter astonishment. "How could she be so...amazing..." He thought to himself as he sat next to he. She looked at him and pointed to the picture of Peter Parker and then him. 

"Do you not see the uncanny resemblance.."

 "Fine, whatever you say. I didn't know you wore glasses"

"I wear contacts when I'm out and when I'm home, I wear my glasses"

 "Huh. And this is just a complete shot in the dark but...you like comics "

 "I wonder what gave it away" She said with a giggle.

 "What about you Peter ? Are you into comics ?"

 "Is Flash the reason for his own super powers...."

Lucia then lit up and began talking about comics with Abbe, who was in fact, a total geek. The hours passed along and they weren't even remotely tired. Abbe has become fed up with him hiding his feelings for Lucia and she showed him some interest that night. While they were talking, Abbe was devising a plan on how to tell Lucia his feelings then he got a solution. "Hey...uhh Wanna play 21 questions?" He asked cleverly. 

"Alright, so wanna go first or are you gonna hit that 'Ladies first' line ?" she answered. 

"Dang it, caught me. I'll go first". She giggled and diverted her attention to him.

 "So have you ever had a boyfriend ?" he asked. 

"Nope, Never had. Have you ever had a girlfriend ?"

 "Not even once","Alright. Next question" Lucia said as she skimmed over some comic books. Abbe asked a few more random questions until he decided to tell her. He took a deep breath and release these words. 

"Do you like me ?"

"Of course I do why wouldn't I" She said as she smiled at him.

 "Next question... Do you have a crush on anyone and if so, who are they?" Abbe said as he wiped his sweating palms on his pants. 

"Uhh...Yes I do have a crush...it's... It's..."
