Chapter 10 : Temptation

"It's me sweetheart. I have missed you so much" His mother said.

"It's....No. It's a trick" Abbe protested.

"Sweetie, Don't you believe that it's really me. I have long to see you. I have watched over you and saw your troubles and your pain. So many times I could comfort you. it pain me to see my son going truth torture without comfort"

"I...It's been so hard with out you..." Abbe broke down and cried.

"It's alright baby. I'm here now for you"

"All those lonely nights, All those times I faced mockery and humiliation. I missed you so much Mom. I needed you so much"

"I'm here now baby" She said as she hugged him tighter.

"But what about dad ?" Abbe said as he looked at her, Misty-eyed.

"He's not here right now sweetie. He soon will"

"I...I....I don't know what to say"

"It's okay honey. You're here with me now because of that glorious amulet" 

"I suppose" he said as he let go and wiped the tears.

"You're so Handsome. Just like your father" His mother said as she caressed his face.

"Thanks mom." He said as he smiled

"Abbe !!"

He heard someone shout. It was a familiar voice. As he turned around, He got a tight hug. When he looked, It was Lucia.

"Lucia. How'd you get here ?"

"Casey gave me the amulet in hopes that I can come and help you with your problem" She said as she showed him the amulet she had on."

"Huh..You two are smart"

"Yep. Oh hey Abbe's mom" She said to his mom

"Hello Lucia"

"How do you know each other ?" Abbe asked

"I met her when I came and was looking for you. This amulet is great. I don't see the big deal" Lucia said with a smile

"I'm trying to control it. It's bad"

"No" Lucia and his mom said in unison.

"If you control it, you'll limit the power it has. I wont be able to see you no more" Abbe mom said.

"Don't do it Abbe. You have an amazing gift. You  don't want to get rid of it right ?" Lucia asked as she moved closer to him and caressed his jawline while looking in his eyes.

"Uhh...No..But it's bad" He said as he looked at her. Captivated.

"But sometimes, Bad can be a good thing.." She said as she moved closer to him.

"I...I...Uh...I guess"

"Good...Let's use it.." She said before she kissed him.

She continued kissing him while her fingers slide down his chest slowly.

She broke away and said "Now...was that bad..."

"No not at all.." He said as he looked at her with a stupid smile.

"Don't limit it's power. Keep it and have all of this. Me and your mother. Don't you want that Abbe..".

"I....." He said. He shook his head and pushed her away.

"No. It's not real none of it is. This is all a lie. You're a lie" He said as he held the dagger.

Lucia sighed and looked at him "Such a shame you didn't conform.."

The skins of both Lucia and His mother began peeling off. It revealed a dark interior. It wasn't Lucia or his mother anymore, It wasn't even human. It was two shadowy figures that merge together to form one. Abbe was shocked and he clenched the dagger tightly. It was the same thing from his dream.

"You really think you can control this..." It said as it moved closer to Abbe. It looked at him in his eyes. He looked back and saw nothing.Emptiness.He hesitated and tried to attack it. his hands went straight through it. It smiled ominously and grabbed his throat. Abbe tried to loosen it's grip but he couldn't

"It's shameful that you could have had all this power yet you tried to go against it" It said as it tighten it's grip.

Abbe,gasping for air, struggled saying"No...You....Can't...Win..."

It smiled.

"Even when you're defeated, you still show signs of confidence..Haha...pathetic"

Abbe looked down and then looked back at the figure with a ominous smile then he said "Who said anything about defeated..."

Abbe then grabbed it's hand and got up.

"What !?! How did you !?!" It shouted

"You may be powerful but you aren't smart are you...This is MY sub consciousness. MY world. You're in MY territory and you're trying to control me...well newsflash, you're in MY control"

He then stab the being with the dagger and it disperse.

He opened his eyes and saw Casey waiting. She saw him and smiled. 

"So...You survived and controlled it.."

"It's obvious" He said proudly as he got up and stretch.

"You did good. You have control over it now but you still need to train and maintain it"

"Yeah yeah...I'm going to get something to drink" he said as he walked out the room.

Casey sighed and started walking towards the door. She stopped

"What....What is this...This feeling..." she said 

"It's not the amulet...Is....Is this....attraction..."
