Chapter 11 : Followers

Casey came out of the room and looked at Abbe and she didn't know the feeling she was getting. She brushed it off.Abbe walked to the door and opened it. He walked out and heard the crumbling of paper beneath his feet. He looked down and saw a note of some sort. He picked it up and notice it had a strange symbol on it. He looked around and saw someone across the street in a black hoodie looking at him. He tried to look at the person faced but couldn't. He opened the note and it read

 "We know who you are and what you possess"

Abbe quickly looked back at the person but they weren't there anymore. He quickly went inside and called for Casey

"What is it..." She said as she walked to him.

He handed her the note and She read it.

"Oh no....They're here"

"Who is ? Explanation"Abbe asked in confusion 

"No time, We have to go"

"Where ? Why ?"

"Ugh..." She closed the curtains and locked the doors.

Abbe stood there and looked at Casey.

"Alright. They are Hellions . Remember, these amulets aren't of this mortal world so no surprise that the one who first had them wants them back. They're the underlings of Lucifer sent to retrieve these amulets. They have the ability to disguise themselves in human bodies. They're extremely dangerous especially, Asabai. The chief or general of them. He's powerful and is on a mission to bring the end times."

"So he's going to bring Lucifer ?

"Correction, He's going to bring the apocalypse. everything that is to happen is written in the bible. The book of revelations"

"so he's going to bring the end of the world.."

"Yes. He also has the third amulet. With all our amulets combined, It'll increase the powers. Enough to create a portal to both heaven and hell"

"Wow....We can't let him have it"

"I know we can't. I've always ran from them while simultaneously looking for the other amulet..yours. Now that I find it, they've caught up to me...We can only run"

"No. We can't run and hide for the rest of our lives. We have to fight it. Fight them and fight him"

"But you don't even know, He'll kill us all"

"I'd rather die while fighting with a chance than live knowing I abandon it"

"You are a ignorant,vindictive and headstrong fool..."

She then kiss him on his cheek and whispered to him "I like that.."

He stood there in awe and looked at her

"I think I know someone who will be able to help us but we need to get there quickly" She said as she gather her stuff

"I umm....R..right behind you" He said while still trying to process what had happen

"Gonna stand there looking like an idiot or gonna get ready to fight a powerful demon..."

"I...uh...Right" He said as he snapped out of it and got his stuff.

"Where are we going?" He said as he grabbed his knife.

"We're going to church.." she answered as she walked out the door

Abbe followed her and walked while looking at his amulet...

"Yeah they should be finish I guess" Nathaniel said as he open the door

"What were they doing anyway ?" Lucia asked

"I have no idea" 

They walked in and saw a man inside. The man was somewhat tall and had a muscular  build. His face was mostly obscured by a black scraggly beard that clung to his skin like winter ravaged ivy tendrils. His bone structure was fine and perfectly symmetrical. It was manly. He was striking, as a silver-fox. He had alluring Merlot eyes and a devilish smile. He walked to Nathaniel and Lucia. He looked down at them and said in a gruff voice

"Why hello there. I assume you know the boy who lives here"

"Yes. Why ?" Nathaniel said as he looked at him fearfully.

"Nothing you should know.Anyway, you two seem important to him so let's see how he'll handle you two being tortured"

"What !?!" Lucia shouted

Suddenly a hand went over her mouth and she began feeling weary

"Lucia!!" Nathan shouted as he saw a man pull Lucia away

Something grabbed him and began choking him.He held around his neck and fell to the floor gasping for air.He saw Lucia knocked out and someone taking her away. He looked at the man and saw a demonic entity looking at him with a smile. 

"Shh...It'll all be over soon" He said as his voice alter from gruff to demonic...
