Caleb POV:
I snuck back into my bedroom and stumbled to the shower.
I turned on the steaming hot water and stepped into the shower. I stared at the faint red blood dripped off of my body down the drain.I remember the intense feeling of pleasure chasing down the deer gave me.
Running after my prey, being a predator for the first time of my life.
I scrubbed at my skin desperate to get the blood off.
Suddenly I'm a werewolf and I'm chasing after deer in the middle of the night. Everything in my life is getting so screwed to hell and I can't do anything to stop it.
I punched the shower wall cracking the tile in a burst of anger.
"Shit!"I hissed turning to rinse the cuts on my knuckles.
I gasped watching the skin heal and come together like nothing had ever happened. I looked at my hand closely and shook my head getting out. I just need to go to sleep in my bed and when I wake up in the morning everything will be okay.
I got dressed and I heard my mom start to cry from her room. Well, not everything.
Eric POV:
My body shuddered in pain every time I took a deep breath. The shed was now somewhat lighted from the morning sun leaking inside.
I closed my eyes, I haven't been in here in years. My father used to lock me in here for days until I behaved. The walls were covered in ash and scratches, I heard the voices as clear as when I was younger.
They were angry at me, they screamed in my ears telling me that I was bad and worthless. Mother used to come home and take me out bringing me into her warm arms and nestling me in her chest.
Bad things happened in the shed. I never told mother though, father would punish me.
I opened my eyes again trying to push away those memories.
I uncovered my ears cautiously, the voices were gone now. I stayed couched in the corner under a bench. I needed to smoke, I needed to get out of here. I knew better than to leave before father let me out first, I would just get punished again.
Suddenly the shed door slung open and my father reached in and grabbed my neck roughly tossing me onto the ground.
I closed my eyes still shaking in fear, I didn't want to go back in the shed ever again.
"I hope you learned your lesson Eric, Did you learn your lesson?"He asked with a sick smile on his face as I crouched over on the ground terrified of him.
He grabbed my head forcing me to look up at him.
"Did you learn your lesson?"He asked. I nodded quickly unable to speak. I was reverting back into my childhood ways of coping.
The last time I was in the shed I didn't speak for a month's, kids at my school tormented me, that was until my other side taught them all a lesson.
He nodded satisfied and patted me on the back making me flinch in fear. He smiled he liked that I was afraid, without my mother here to protect me he could do whatever he wanted to me and I would stay quiet.
"The sooner you learn to listen to me and follow the rules, the better the outcome will be for you" he whispered in my ear and dropped keys in my hand.
"Don't crash this one" he said and walked away.
I waited until he left before I picked up the keys and got onto my trembling feet. I stumbled to the house and slowly made my way upstairs and I peeled off my clothes letting my other side take control.
