The Connections

Trevor POV:

Soft kisses traveled down my neck and continued down my back. I slowly awakened with a smile.

"Are you trying to wake me up or keep me in bed." I say while stretching.

"Well I would love to just stay in bed with you all day, but it's Tuesday and our five day vacation is officially O..V..E..R. Over." He said whispering in my ear.

 I could feel him laughing beside me as I frowned. I sat up groaning. God why do I have to go to school...Why can't I just sleep, I enjoy sleep. Not to mention football practice would be starting again and that's a lot of work.

"Go take a shower and I'll be waiting in the car." He said after giving me a kiss.

I reluctantly let him leave and I began to take my shower forcing myself out to finish getting ready for school. I got out and got dressed in black button up and maroon pants. Damn I'm good. I quickly shoved my brown boots on and ran down the stairs. Nonnie held out a pop-tart for me as I ran out the door and into Ryan's car.

"Hey babe, ready for school?" He asked while shifting gears. He carefully pulled out of my driveway and began to drive out of the woods.

"No, but I'll go anyways because... Education I guess."

He laughed and continued to drive.

"Hey Trevor?" I looked at him to signal I was listening.

"This may seem out of the blue, but has Claire always been like this?" He asked glancing at me.

I think back to when we were all friends, to all the teasing and the laughter we all shared.

"Claire always hated me, but she was nice... There was a time where she had a shine to her eyes and a soul."

"Now that shine is gone.. Just gone. Her eyes only read hatred and hollow, like there is no hope." I continued.

He looked at me with concern and slight confusion. He grabbed my hand and softly rubbed it letting me continue.

"Yeah, I know it sounds weird but it's true." 

Even though I disliked Claire, that didn't mean that I didn't care about her. I spent most of my friendship with Caleb also hanging out with her.

We pulled into the school parking lot as he turned the car off turning to look at me.

"Well Claire aside, I just want to let you know that I will always be here for you." He said before kissing me.

Suddenly a knock disrupted our kiss, I turn to see who it was... Damn it Caleb.

Caleb Pov:

I smirked disrupting the couple before they got hot and heavy.

"Hands off the best friend" I teased as Trevor stepped out of the car.

Trevor blushed as I tossed my arm around his shoulder giving Ryan a look as we walked towards school.

"What's got you in such a good mood today?" Trevor asked as I walked inside school.

"Well Trevor our first game is at the end of the week, my mom made her pasta last night and I'm becoming a master at this whole werewolf thing" I said opening my locker as I pulled my stuff out.

Ryan rolled his eyes pushing my shoulder playfully.

"I said you were doing good, don't get cocky beta" he teased.

I shook my head and flashed my eyes at him making sure no one saw.

"I'm a master" I whispered before skipping away to class.
