Hazel's POV

I groan as I hear the alarm on the bedside table go off. I pull out my arm from under the covers and I reach out, looking for the button to turn the damn thing off. Finding it, I push down and the room becomes quiet. I lay there for a few moments before sitting up and stretching my arms. Looking to my left, I see Miles still sleeping. Me and him share the same bed now, it may seem weird to others, but not at all to us, the bed is big enough for two people so it's not that big of a deal.
I gently shake his shoulder. "Miles, our alarm went off, it's time to get up." Miles is a heavy sleeper, while I'm a light sleeper, so most of the time I end up needing to wake him myself.
He groans, turning away from me and Gavin the wall. "Five more minuets...." I sigh.
"Nope, we got plans today, remember?" I turn and move so my legs are hanging off the side of the bed then turn my head back to Miles. "You getting up or am I going to have to drag you?"
"Yea, yea..." He mumbled. "Just... Go do what you gotta do and I'll be out of bed by the time you're done..."
"Alright, you better or you know what's coming." I then stand up, I walked over to our dresser, grab some clothes then head to the bathroom.
In the bathroom I do what I usually do, use me toilet, change your clothes and brush my teeth. When I'm done with that, I stand in front of the door that has a mirror handing on it and I look at myself.
I have long blonde hair hair that goes down to the middle of my back, I've been thinking of cutting it but I'm not sure yet, I might need help from Miles doing that. My bangs go down to my mouth, but so I can actually see and I don't want to cut them any shorter, they're pulled to pulled to the right, covering up my right eye every once in a while. My brother's hair is also blonde, it's fairly shirt, but not too short, it's very fluffy to say the least. We both have gray eyes, I guess it wasn't expected though because it isn't any known gray eyed relatives in the blood line. Also, I'm strangely more pale then my brother. Like, Miles is just very white while I'm practically albino.
I'm wearing a white shirt with a small black boy on the front of the collar, I got on black jeans and some pretty nice white socks. I then slip on some black vans, I take my pjs and I leave the bathroom, putting my clothes in the hamper as I walk back to our room. Thankfully, Miles kept to his word and was up. He sad on our bed wearing a black shirt with a little white bow on the front of the collar, white jeans and some pretty nice and black socks. It also seems like he's in the process of putting on some white vans.
I walk over to our bed and I sit next to him. "So, you exited to be going outside and into the great wide world?" I say patting his back.
"Eh, kinda, I'm not head over heels right now but I'll live."
"You better, I'm not going to allow you to die on me anytime soon." I giggle.
We didn't go outside much, we don't really have much of a reason to. We used to go to school, then we dropped out of high school, we just didn't feel the need to go anymore and no one really is there to stop us. If go into explanation on that... But I don't feel like that'd be a good idea. Right now we're 19, we look younger but that's simply just the curse hat was brought upon us short people. Actually, the only reason we're leaving the house today, especially so damn early in the morning is because we've got a part time job. For a while now we've been trying to get one, and after a while we finally succeeded and today is going to be our first day working officially. It's at a grocery store in town and we have to leave in a bit from now.
"I guess, but do you think we can do this?"
"Of course we can! Seriously, if we tried, I bet we could nominate the whole place."
"Yea, I guess, but I mean, they don't even kn-"
"Because that's not important! Wit our short people luck they probably think we're still in the middle of high school."
Miles sighs. "I guess you're right." He stands up and turns around to look at me, holding out his had. "Well" he smiles."Ready to go out into the great wide world?"
"Definitely." I say, smiling as I take his hand and get pulled up.
We leave our room and head to the living room. As I'm about to head to the kitchen I notice Miles heading straight for the front door.
"Don't you think we should eat breakfast first?" I ask stopping to look at him.
"That can wait, now come on, we need to go!" He says, putting on his Umbreon jacket and throwing my Espeon jacket at my face. I laugh, putting it on.
"Finally woke up, huh?"
He dashed over to me and grabs my hand. "Yea, sure, now come on!" He drags me to the door.
"Okay, okay, I'm coming, I'm coming!" I say trying to catch up to his speed so I don't fall on my face. Miles opens the door and we run out, on our way to begin what may be the most simplest task that many others do, but what may also be the start of the biggest change in our life.
