For the first in my life, I wished to sleep deep but I could not. My sleep last night almost killed me. I parked my Porsche beside Renesmee's. I had it back, Edward said I'm not grounded anymore, Emmett became disappointed, I'm not his guinea pig anymore. Walking inside the hallways, not trying to blend in. It was normal but some kind of different, too. I saw a pair of blue eyes approaching me, I knew I need to hold my breathe. As he came near, I glared at him. He's not even bothered nor afraid of my death glares. Surprisingly, his scent became a natural thing to me.
"I wanted to talk to you." He said, I raised my eyebrow. Waiting for his words, he sighed.
"I'm sorry for what I've said yesterday." He looked sincere, Jacob's behind this confrontation. He's so irritating, I planned on how to hurt Jacob with Nessie knowing. I didn't respond to Alex. Instead, I went inside my Spanish class. He went inside too, I forgot that we have same class and it's Spanish. We studied the basic but I already know how to be fluent in Spanish. I wanted to sleep but I couldn't.
As the bell rang, students went out. I stayed in my chair, leaning my back and stretching my legs to relax. Sighing and relaxing for a minute made me calm. I skipped my gym class, they're playing volleyball and that's not a good idea. I should have asked Carlisle to arrange my schedule, removing any sports in it. When you're a vampire, I suppose you're not allowed to play sports in public, attention will be yours because you have too much strength than the other players. After hiding in the library for an hour, I went to the cafeteria and saw the three people already waiting for me. I sat beside Alex quietly.
"Have you heard about the legends here?" Alex asked to my friendly sister. Her smile grew wide when she heard legends. Of course, she knew. We're part of that legends now.
"Where did you heard it?" Jacob asked curiously. Well, the legends stay inside La Push.
"My brother used tell those stories to me when I was young." Alex shrugged, his posture is not relaxed. I wonder why.
"What do you want to know about those legends?"
"Well, I know this is weird but I think they're true." There's no weird in our vocabulary. I wanted to say that but I choose not to. Nessie looked at him, curiously, too.
"I always hear quiet growls in our backyard every night and I saw bloody red eyes staring at me last night, but I guess those are my hallucinations. Silly." He shook his head when he saw our reactions, my reaction. Horrified and surprised.
"I don't believe in myths but these days—" He didn't continue when I stormed out of the cafeteria. Renesmee followed me, leaving them behind. I went to the parking lot, I am outraged.
"What's the matter?" She asked me. I exhaled too many amount of breath. It's raining, I can feel my hair is getting wet.
"Don't you see, Nessie? It's Leon or Mia, they've been roaming around the household of Alexander when they promised not to hunt people anymore. Carlisle won't tolerate this kind of attitude! I won't, too." I explained and search for my keys.
"We don't want to conclude yet, Sel. They are our visitors, inform Carlisle so that we can observe more. Don't point fingers, Selene." She warned me, I'm being impulsive again, I guess. We compromised and I went back home. I didn't wait for someone to open the door for me, it was a perfect time because our visitors went to hunt.
"Carlisle." I called him as soon as I reached his room, he closed his thick book and looked at me, puzzled.
"I have to tell you something important."
"Please sit, Sel." He offered the chair in the other side of his desk, I sat calmly. I inhaled and exhaled for me to be relax.
"What is it you want to talk about?" His voice is so kind, no suspicion in his voice nor in his eyes.
"Someone's been roaming around my friend's household these past few days, he—" He interrupted me.
"He? May I know who's this He?" I must admit, I don't give a damn about boys around me.
"His name is Alexander. He's the new transfer in our school, as I said a while ago, he describe the figure and he saw its bloody red eyes, I assumed that those red eyes are owned by our visitors." I continued, he was silent and he observed.
"You say that this boy has the tempting aroma in his blood, am I right?"
"Yes, no." I scowled. He let a low chuckle.
"It's hard to judge our visitors, Selene. I have to ask them first, if they lie, maybe that's the time to plan some actions." He justified the situation, I nodded.
"May I warm the werewolves— I mean, shape shifters, too?" It's almost in La Push and they are the protectors so they have the right to know.
"If you pleased." Carlisle nodded, I went back to the school and told Jacob to warn his pack, he assured the safety of Alexander, I don't have issues with that guy, it just happens that I want to warn Carlisle about Leon and Mia and he's one great prop. The rest of the day went well, I'm getting used to Alexander's scent, but I still want to sip it out of him. Control, Selene. Control. We visited La Push, both Nessie and I are allowed to visit there, but not to hunt. Seth saw me again, he won't let his tail off me. Metaphorically. We ate with Billy and we set a camp fire near at the beach.
"Will you run some laps tonight with Sam?" Renesmee asked her Jacob who's hugging her behind. I rolled my eyes. Disgusting.
"Yes, we need to guard a boy for your sister." Jacob emphasized every word, Seth growl quietly, I tapped his shoulders.
"We need to go home, Nessie. It's getting late." I stood up and shook off some sand in my legs. She followed me into the woods. We were running faster than usual, it's not safe especially when we don't have any companion. I froze when my imagination flashed something. Could it be? Another Cullen will be involved with a human? I growled, I don't want that. As I reach the front porch, I went inside our home.
"I want to go to Denali." I said with grimace. They all look shocked by my sudden decision.
"I want to stay there for a while, maybe a year or two." I shrugged, calculating how long will Alexander stay here, I don't want to be attached to a mortal. I have enough cliché stories about immortals and mortals. Even if that will happen, I need to be cautious. Especially now that Nessie befriended that Alex.
"Why?" Bella asked with worries in her face. It's hard to be away to the Cullens but I need to.
"I think I changed my mind. I'm going to Asia. Maybe, Manila or Shanghai—" Bella's growl stopped me.
"Why, Selene Ismene?" She howled, her eyes are filled with anger. I never saw her that angry, I used to hear that she's outraged when Jacob imprinted on Nessie.
She never used our second name, now she did.
"I want to stay away from Forks." I twitched when she howled again.
"Just let her do what she want, love." Edward said to my furious mother.
"I won't let her go all by herself! We raised her, protect her, she can't go! She's ours!" She gritted her teeth and clenched her jaw. She glared at me.
"You can't just leave your family for a certain someone, honey." Esme said sweetly with a pinch of sadness in her voice.

I am sorry for the delayed update. We don't have a stable internet. I promise, I'll double my update. Keep in touch. And also, I'd like to say that Selene Cullen has a face claim now, it is Lily Collins. If you're familiar with Vampire Diaries or Mortal Instruments, she's there. Thanks! xx
