Mark's POV
I saw Seulgi and Lay this morning and I tried so hard not to look at them. Seulgi looked a bit messy, her clothes were wet and red paints with white powder were visible on it. I can't help but worry about it. In Geography I keep on thinking back to the scene. Jackson nudged me giving me a worried expression.
"What's wrong?" He whispered. I shook my head but answered anyway, "Just worried about...Seulgi. What do you think happened?"
Jackson gave me a surprise look. "You didn't know?"
I frowned at this, "What?" What do I not know? Jackson was going to answer but Mr. Smith turned his attention back to the class discussing and asking questions about Social management on sustainable communities.
"Jackson," He called out, "What are the three things that involve in the development of sustainable communities?" All attention is on Jackson now. Jackson blew his fringe out of his eyes before looking at Mr. Smith.
"Oh sorry me?" This cause a few snickers around the room, and Mr. Smith does not look pleased.
"Yes, you Jackson."
"Um...well I already know the answer Mr. Smith, but I doubt some other people don't know it. And I don't want to give away free answers. You know, that's like cheating."
"That's the point Jackson." Mr. Smith tighten his lips, "We're sharing all the information on what we know and our knowledge to the others." I glanced at Jackson trying so hard not to grin.
"Well...I don't really like sharing Mr. Smith. Why don't you share your knowledge instead if you're so eager to let other know?" Jackson made it sound more like a statement than a question.
"Detention after school Jackson." Jackson had a victory grin on his face even though he's getting a detention. Oh Jackson. After another 20 mins of GEO, we head to our next class which is HPE. Our favourite subjects.
"So you were going to tell me in Geo?" I noted back to that moment.
"Ah, that...well there's been rumours flowing around that Seulgi is being bullied." I stopped in my track and stared at Jackson.
"What? Who? Who's bullying Seulgi??" I demanded while Jackson put up his hands in surrender.
"I don't know, but lots of people are saying it's Charlotte and her group of friends." I scoffed in disbelief. I told them not to worry about her, and leave Seulgi alone.
"Well, seems like they didn't listen." Jackson answered and I realised I might have been thinking out loud.

We are getting warmed up for basketball when Lay came rushing in and handing in a late not to Mr. Bate. I eyed him as he made his way in the locker to change uniform. Well that's weird, I guess he's making it up to the teacher. Lay never really participated much in sport.
"OK teams get in position now!" Mr. Bate ordered. Lay came jogging up and stood in front of me because he's on the other team, and everyone glanced at us. Not because he was participating but because he's facing me, meaning he's trying to go up against me. And that's a shock because I'm the captain, which means he wants to be caption of his team. Jackson and I exchanged a look. Chanyeol, who has always been the caption for the other team came and stood next to lay, looking down at him.
"I believe you're in the wrong place, nerd." Chanyeol stated, but Lay didn't not flinch at all.
*clears throat* "I believe you're wrong though." Lay answered glancing at him. Chanyeol expression darken and was about to grab Lay when Mr. Bate yelled stop. He walked toward us and look back and forth at us. He finally landed his eyes on Lay, who kept his attention on me.
"Let him have it. Blue team, your caption is Lay! Now let's get the game started! Go go go!!" Mr. Bate barked. Everyone rushed into position, only Lay and I was in the centre. Now that I take a good look at it, Lay is slightly taller than me, which will give him some advantage but I'm quiet light so I can jump higher. Ha, why am I stressing over this? I've always been the best basketball players along with Jackson and my other friends in the entire school. And I have never seen Lay played basketball before, let alone warming up for something. He looks pretty weak too.
We were in position, but this time, it felt weird. It was really tensed in the court and Lay was staring at me intensely. What is he's problem? We were about to start when Mr. Bate told us he had to get another ball as the other one was a bit flat. As we waited for him, Lay spoke up at me. "You've really gone too far this time."
I knitted my eyebrows in confusion, "What are you talking about?" Lay chuckled humourlessly.
"Seriously Mark? Getting your girls to get the girl who humiliated you for revenge? That's really pathetic."
I was breathing hard already. Anger boiled inside of me but I kept my calm. I'm not the same person I used to be, I've changed...I must change.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I replied but he didn't answer. "You've changed Lay. I used to remember the fear in your eyes when I walk past you. Now...you're even challenging me. Ha...your little crush on Seulgi is cute." I mocked. Lay's eyes widened a bit at this and glared at me.
You're my enemy now Lay. I'm going to win her over you. Let's just set this game as a first stage of our competition.
"Your bold challenging the king of basketball in his game. Don't worry I'll go easy on you. After all, you're still a softy." I chuckled and some people in the room snickers as well. "You might want to take off your glasses as well." I gestured toward his glasses. This made Lay look down in embarrassment and took off his glasses. He walked to the bench and placed it in his bag before joining the court. Finally, Mr. Bate came back and the game began.
