Chapter 9

Seulgi's POV

Me and Junior was waiting for Lay and Youngji in front of my apartment ready to go. Believe it or not this is actually my first time swimming. But no way I am going to tell the others that. A blue car then drove down and stopped in front of us. Youngji rolled down the window and told us to hop in. When we got in the car, Lay was obviously driving sitting in the driver sit while I sat at the back in the middle with Youngji and Jr. by my side. Lay and Youngji took a look at Junior.

"Guys this is my friend Junior here." I introduced him. They nodded and greeted each other. During the whole ride Youngji kept on talking to Junior, asking him a hell lot of questions I can't even remember.

As for Lay, he was oddly quiet. I mean he is a shy and quiet person, but today he just seems, I don't know, upset or something. Nah, that's not it. Maybe he's tired. I sit back and closed my eyes remembering the memories from yesterday. Did he really mean what he said? Maybe not, I must have misheard it.

"We're here." I heard Lay said shutting the door. I opened my eyes to see Junior smiling at me.

"Wake up sleeping head, we've got a lot of fun to do."

I yawned not caring if anyone is looking. I got out the car to see we're out a car park where families and friends in their swimming suit, towel, half naked guys or girls in bikini walking around. I took in the scene around me. We were at a beach. I thought we were going to an indoor swimming pool or swimming in a pool. I hardly know how to swim and with winding wind and big waving wave, I have no chance. Oh well I'll just excuse myself that I'm on the time of the month. Maybe.

I suddenly felt self-conscious of myself after seeing Youngji in her bikini coming towards me. "Let's go have some fun! You boys can go claim a place and set up while we girls will go swimming, right Lay?" Youngji waved them off as she waited for me to get my bag out. We then head off. But not before taking a glance back at Junior and Lay awkwardly taking out the other bags.

"Are you going to swim like that?" Youngji asked beside me as we walk along the beach. I look down at myself. I was wearing a little overlarge white shirt with sporty black short.

"Um, yes." I answered. Youngji nodded although she looked like she wanted to say something.

"So... how long have you known Junior?" Youngji asked. Panic arise me for a second.

"Um...about 7 years or so. Why?" Youngji smiled at me before muttering something I couldn't quite hear but heard some word like "known...best friend...that...long."

"Sorry?"

"Nothing. Let's go find a spot before it gets full." Youngji said dragging me.

"Haha, is the beach not big enough?"

"Who said anything about beach? We're going to a swimming pool, not an ocean pool." Youngji chuckled.

When we arrive I could see teens and uni students having fun. The pool is huge like really, it's near the sea but it's not salt-water.

"This place looks full." I said and turned to Youngji, but her eyes are somewhere else. I followed her gaze. Some hot dude with hard abs is laughing with a group of teens. I thought I saw some from our school.

"Isn't he a hottie? Come let's go a claim a territory." Youngji giggled. Wow. I never thought Youngji is like this or will be like this. She's always obedient, teacher's pet, quiet but enthusiastic. I guess every quiet person have a fun, wild side, not only boring like they seem.

We finally find an empty spot and settled down.

"OK let's go swim now." Youngji said getting up.
