They had to start training as soon as they could. Without going out to remote locations where the hunters could find them and kill them all horribly.

They had tried to use the loft a couple of times but that resulted in broken furniture and a very annoyed Alpha.

So Stiles started to explore the abandoned apartment building. The rooms were just not going to work. To much stuff to break and not enough room.

He saw the sign on the door of the basement stating that it was dangerous. Arching a brow he wondered for a moment before reaching out and taking hold of the knob and turning it. The rusted screech of the knob was ear splitting.

With a muttered curse Stiles opened the door and headed into the basement to explore it as a safe option for the pack to train. It was dark so he used the flash light app on his phone.

Looking around as he finally got to the bottom of the stairs he almost went back up after seeing lots of pipes around him but then he saw a gap in them and moved slowly through it. A good amount of area was empty except for a few boxes that had more dust on them than he thought physically possible. Walking around the area with his flashlight he was trying to find some kind of light but was coming up empty.

Then suddenly he saw a pair of red eyes in the darkness. "What are you doing down here Stiles?"

Jumping out of his skin and yelping in an unmanly shriek he started to fall and Derek reached out grabbing him around his waist and pulling him away from the boxes he was about to fall into and pulled him up against him.

Stiles gasped and gripped his arms as his feet were tangled up and he felt the warmth that radiated off Derek as he was held. His heart picked up speed and he felt his skin tingle slowly as that warm feeling seeps into him from touching Derek. It happened everytime.

Blinking up at Derek he stuttered. "W-what?"

"What are you doing down here Stiles." Derek asked as he helped Stiles to stand.

"I was ... I found a place for us to train the pack." Stiles hesitated as he saw him arch a brow. "I mean you, a place where you can train the pack."

"This?" Derek looked around and reached up pulling a string turning on a over head hanging light.

"Yes. It's perfect." Stiles was annoyed that he'd found the light hed been searching for for so long. "Lot's of space. Concrete reinforced with steel. We are underground so you can be all growly and stuff."

Derek arched his brow again.

Stiles sighed. "Come on use your imagination."

Derek sighed and looked around silently. His eyes taking in the space. "It has... potential..."

"Potential? I think it's perfect." Stiles flailed slightly.

Derek started checking the walls and pipes. "The woods would be better."

"You mean dangerous for us to get killed by rogue hunters." Stiles rolled his eyes and scoffed.

Derek growled lowly.

Stiles flinched.

Derek went quiet and slowly crouched beside him inspecting the floor only a foot from where Stiles stood. "It's a good place Stiles. Good find."

Stiles rubbed the bridge of his nose.

Derek stood and reached out and touched Stiles shoulders. "Are you okay? Is it a vision?"

Stiles blinked up at him and felt the graze of Derek's fingers on his shoulder. The warmth spread through his body and Stiles closed his eyes. His body leans into Derek's warmth.

Stiles had no idea why his entire being wanted nothing more than to sink into the warmth of Derek's embrace and stay there. He smelled so good. Like pine and musk and sandal wood.

Suddenly Derek's arms slowly wrap around him and Stiles hears a soft whine like in the woods the other day. "Are you okay Stiles?" Derek asked softly into his hair as he held him.

Stiles looked up feeling warm and looked into green eyes. Like fresh moss against the trees. Slowly the green turns red and he's looking into the deepest hottest fires he's ever seen.

A jolt goes through him and he feels the air pressure shift around them. Suddenly the light above them pops and shatters.

Stiles flinches away and Derek twists so that Stiles is shielded by him.

No glass hits him thanks to the Alpha holding and shielding him. "Stiles... your eyes..."

Stiles blinks and he can still see Derek in the dark. His phone still in his pocket. Blinking he asked. "What?"

"You're eyes... they're glowing..." Derek says quietly.
