"Cheyenne I'm back!" I hear a voice call out.

I got off my bed and ran downstairs to see my best friend standing in the front door.

"Samantha!" I screamed jumping in her arms.

Samantha had just gotten back from a trip and I missed her like crazy.

"Cheyenne!" Samantha mimicked.

I giggled and got down from her, I pull her inside and dragged her upstairs to my room and made her tell me everything about her trip.

It's been 2 years since I moved away, and honestly I think now that it was a good thing I moved away. Because had I stayed after seeing him do that and say what he said I would've gone crazy I would've been more torn up. I was broken for a long time but not being around him kinda made it easier to get over it.

Anyway I met Samantha through work, I work at the mall at Spencer's, it's a good paying job but I need to get a better one soon.

I moved out of my parents house when I was 20 I'm now 21, I live with Samantha since she was kind enough to let me stay with her and get me out of that wretched house. We live in a good sized house there's my bedroom and Samantha's which is the biggest then there's the guest room which is big, the living room, kitchen, basically everything any house would have.

Sam is a lot like me, we're into the same bands. She has bright yellow hair with pink and spider bites along with dermal piercings. Her eyes, a brilliant blue.

I have changed a lot in 2 years I now have blue hair, I got my lip pierced again making it so that I have snakebites, I pierced my nose. I got a tattoo on my wrist it says Forever And Always in cursive, it's what the necklace he gave me said and though I'm hurt and angry I still miss him like crazy so I got the tattoo so in some way he'd still be with me.

The guys never bothered to keep contact with me. It's like I just disappeared from their life. But what did I expect? For them to talk to me every single day and act as if I never moved? But they could've talked me once and a while. They never even contacted me on my birthday.

"Cheyenne?" Samantha asked waving a hand in my face.

"Yeah?" I said I must've spaced out.

"You okay?"

"Yeah I was just thinking,"

"About him?"

I nodded looking down.

"Look he isn't worth it, he didn't deserve you,"

I smiled at her words and hugged her.

"Thank you,"

"Your welcome, now let's go out and do something,"

We left the house and went to the ice cream shop, I ordered mine and paid while Samantha was flirting with a guy.

I laughed and went up to her. The guy she was chatting up had dark brown hair, angel bites, and greenish eyes.

"Get your ice cream," I told Samantha whilst laughing.

"Fine fine," she giggled looking at the guy.

He walked off but not before giving her his number. I rolled my eyes shaking my head.

"That's like the third guy this week you've flirted with," I commented.

"Oh hush, I can have my fun," she said.

I laughed as we walked off. We got back to our house and we just sat around watching movies.

"So why don't you ever date anyone that you flirt with?" I asked out of no where.

"Because they're never the one," Samantha replied. "Why don't you flirt and find a guy?"

"Because no one is the right guy, Ricky was the only one who I felt right with," I confessed.

I have dated like 1 or 2 guys since I moved here but they were never like Ricky, they didn't have his scent, his taste in things, they weren't him.

"You'll find the right person one day," Samantha assured me.

I fake smiled and nodded. I did find the right person, he obviously didn't feel the same way.

It's midnight and I can't sleep, it's Ricky's birthday in 2 days I never got to spend any of his birthdays with him  because of me moving away. I honestly I wish I could be there with him.

I'm thinking about him too much, he probably doesn't even miss me.

I sigh and lay down just thinking of anything else other than Ricky.

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I got out of my bed and walked to the kitchen to find Samantha making pancakes and eggs.

"What are you doing?" I questioned, she never makes breakfast.

"Well I was starving and I'm sure you're hungry so I just began cooking," She said.

"Oh ok,"

I sat down and Samantha gave me a plate.

I checked my phone and saw the time.

"Shit shit shit shit shit," I cursed shoving a pancake in my mouth rushing upstairs to get dressed.

I grabbed my black work shirt and black skinny jeans putting on my converse and applying light make up, going to the bathroom to brush my teeth than dashing down the stairs to find Samantha on the couch.

"We have work," I gasped.

"No you have work, I have the day off,"

I sighed, kissing her on the cheek and ran to my car driving off.
