➺CHAPTER FIVE

Sehun just asked if I'm okay and what I'm doing and then I replied to the group chat.

Luhan: What took you so long to reply 😢
Me: Busy.
Kris: How are you even busy on a Saturday night?
Suho: Did you get into trouble?
Chanyeol: Did you have you period cramp?
D.O: Are you okay?
Tao: What did you do?
Baekhyun: Gapseong~ I missed you
Lay: Take care of your health!
Kai: Touching yourself?
Chen: While thinking of Sehun?
Sehun: Shut up.
Me: *typing...*
Xiumin: Shut up everyone she's typing!
Me: I'm practicing for the audition.

[The audition here, I'm referring to those auditions that could get you accepted to college]

I lied. They didn't reply for awhile until Chen sent a recording audio saying that I am mad and what should they do. Pabo. Followed by Kai saying that Chen is on the wrong chat group. Ugh I feel like leaving the group chat sometimes.

Well Sunday is Sunday which means family day. We decided to pay a visit to Brother who left us about 7 years ago. I called Haneul beforehand to tell him to meet at our house first so that all of us could go together. After all, Haneul was Dae Hyun's bestfriend.

Dad's driving us there and mum sat in the passenger seat. At the back, I sat in between of Haneul and Dae Han. All of us are wearing black. Everyone looked solemn except for Dae Han who is playing with his tayo buses.

I remember Dae Han asking us about the boy in the picture which we were in it -the four of us, mum, dad, Dae Hyun and I. We would all get sad for a moment and then start telling him stories about his brother.

As we reached his grave site, I feel reluctant to go out. I knew, there was nothing underneath. So I don't see the point of visiting an empty grave.

I clearly remember the adults talking about it. His body was never found. It's like he simply vanished or someone had it hidden somewhere.

*Flashback*

"Hey guys! Let's go to the lake today! Let's invite Haneul along too!" The 13 year old Dae Hyun suggested.

"Call Haneul then" Dad agreed to his idea.

While waiting for Haneul to come over, we quickly load our belongings in the boot.

"Hey, where are we going?" Haneul asked

"To the lake" I replied

"But I didn't bring along any spare clothes..." Haneul replied, thinking that he couldn't swim in the lake with us.

"Dae Hyun already brought your clothes that you left at our house" mum replied.

Once we reached there we jumped into the lake and started splashing water at each other. The people that were here had left and we had the entire place to ourselves.

There's a rope tied to one of the branches which we could swing on it and pretend we're Tarzan. The three of us would quickly take turns to use it, it's not like we could enjoy swinging on a rope in the city.

Mum and dad were sitting by the lake watching over us. They are sitting side by side on the ground with dad's arms around mum's shoulders.

"Guys we'll bring out the food! Don't play too far!" Mum said and soon they disappeared within our sight.

When I woke up, I am inside a room. A very clean room. There's animal stickers on the wall. I looked at my hands there's a needle injected. My eyes wandered to the needle up the tube and to the bag of solution.

My clothings, I am wearing a pink gown instead of the clothes that I wore during the swim. I laid there, continuing to observe my surroundings. Dad, mum, Dae Hyun and Haneul weren't here.
