His Secret Girlfriend

➺CHAPTER ELEVEN

"Why? Why tell me now when I've fallen for you?" I sobbed.

"What did I do only to be a replacement of her? I thought we really had a thing for each other or was it all just my imagination?"

"I'm sorry that I dragged it till now. You were so happy and I didn't want to crush it."

I wanted to say something. Wanted to give a clever clap back that could insult him but nothing came out. His excuses then fell silent on my ears. I couldn't even bring myself to give a reply or look at him in the eyes anymore.

On cue, it started raining heavily and I can't tell whether it's my tears or rain dripping on my cheeks. Unlike me, he ran away, seeking shelter from this sad weather.

"CUT! Perfect cut! Good job Jae bae! Dry her up and let's move on to the next location!"

"Jae bae! You sure this is your first acting ever? Cause you're so engrossed in this and got in character easily, I'm impressed" My co- star, Liu Yi Hao compliment me.

"Why's everybody calling me Jae bae here too? God,"

"Well, if not for Haneul that accompanied you during our first script meeting, haha"

I reread my script over and over again. I'm supposed to meet my love interest tomorrow to begin shooting. I'm pretty excited since it's Bii! My favourite singer and actor, though he's not that he's famous...

"Jae come down and have dinner!" Mama Jae called.

I off the lights in my room and head downstairs. When I saw him standing right there. I skipped a few steps and almost slipped but that didn't matter. All that matters is that he's right here.

"Channie!!!" God he's here. I jumped on him and he easily carried me.

"You're really here," I whispered in his face as I caressed his cheeks. I feel him. "But how?" I thought aloud.

"Well, I have something to settle here that's why I came,"

"You could have told me and we could have fetch you from the airport!" I said as he let me down and made our way to the dining room.

"But that wouldn't be a surprise anymore right," he said as he kissed my forehead.

It's all thanks to Channie. He made me got over the breakup and fill the empty void that Sehun left. But hey, if it's not meant to be, let's leave it like that. We pretty much dated over texts and video calls which I really appreciate despite him being crazy busy after graduation.

We then went to the living room where dinner is served. Everyone was smiling like they knew he was going to be here.

"You guys knew that's he's gonna be here..." I said, eyeing my parents and Dae Han.

"Yeah but mom said to keep it a secret or I can't get the latest nerf gun,"

After dinner, he brought his luggage upstairs to my room. Quite a few stuff that he brought, looks like he's staying for a few weeks. As he hauled up the last luggage, dad shouted,

"Guys I'm still too young to be a granddad!"

"Seriously," I muttered under my breath.

He placed the luggage at the side and we hugged in the middle of the room. Just hugging.

"Thank you for being here," I said as I kissed his jawline. Well that's the best I could do even when I tip toed.

"Well thank you for being a part of my life," Ah, I must have saved a nation to get a boyfriend this charming.

I broke free because I needed to pee and when I came out, he already had changed into his pyjamas. Bummer, could have seen those well built muscles. Not that I've seen it for myself but whenever we face timed, most of the time he's topless.

We watched a PG rated movie and just started talking.

"What's your plan for tomorrow?"

"I'm just gonna go for a walk in the neighbourhood. And fetch Dae Han if I'm done early."

"Okay, I hope I get to end early though. By the way I'm meeting the characters love interest tomorrow!"

"Who's the actor?"

"Bii! He's a Taiwan actor and singer!" I replied animatedly, Bii is my idol and someone I looked up too! He even has a song with korean lyrics in it.

"Are you that excited to meet him?" He said as he pinched my cheeks.

"Ofcourse it's like a dream to finally meet and act with your idol. And the best part is we have a kiss scene tomorrow!" I squealed as I draped my arm over his torso.

"Ha ha sure. I'll give you the benefit of doubt this time round."

We decided to end the night early since I had to wake up early tomorrow.

I woke up earlier to find that he's still sleeping. I was on my stomach with my elbow supporting me, just admiring his face. Pretty upsetting that I have to leave early and I don't want to disturb him sleeping.

I left a note on the desk beside him that I'll see him soon with a heart.

I made sure I reached early to the set so that I could see my love interest in this movie. And get to know him better so we could portray good chemistry on screen. (Sorry Channie)

We were waiting for about 10 minutes when the assistant director came and announced that Bii will not be coming and there will be a replacement instead.

My heart sank...

My long awaited dream...

Apparently it was last minute that the director and Bii had arranged it and it was also a miracle that they found a replacement within a day.

"Jae bae! Need you to come her for a second," the director called for me.

"It was pretty unfortunate but Bii has to back out last minute because his girlfriend is already expecting. But he has also found a replacement for your love interest and I hope you guys will make this work. He is none other than..."
