I pulled the door open to see Lexi standing here, holding onto her pink bag whilst wearing a pair of white jeans with a red shirt and red converses. "Howdy there partner," Lexi mimicked a cowboy accent.
"Ello there love," I impersonated a British accent. We stared at each other before laughing. I pulled her into the house, her bag trailing behind us. We screamed simultaneously and attacked each other in a tight embrace.
Sprinting down the stairs we giggled like little school girls as we were excited about the night ahead of us. It was a Friday which meant we could stay up late.
"Sorry I took so long. It was my parents. I got off work at 6 right? Right. Then I had to pack, which took about an hour. So I was about to leave and they started to ask me to do a lot of random shit! Like washing the dishes or taking out the trash and eating dinner with them. Blah, blah, blah," Her voice trailed off.
"All of that doesn't matter. Let's just enjoy ourselves," I squealed. For the next few hours we done our facials, exchanged beauty tips (Lexi told me beauty tips and I mentally tried to note them down), she gave me fashion advice because my taste in clothes were apparently awful and Lexi prank called random people whilst I tried to hold back the roaring laughter that was about to explode any second.
"Well that was fun," Lexi exclaimed as she fell onto my bed. I agreed lying next to her.
"What should we do now," I asked bored.
"What time is it?" I asked her curious.
"Around half one," She answered glancing at her watch. She smirked at me and I knew what she was thinking.
"No!"
I sent her a stern look. She pouted, sticking out her bottom lip as she sent me the puppy dog eyes.
Don't look anywhere else but the eyes!
One glance was all it took for me to say yes.
I sighed as she ran over to my stereo and flicked through my CD collections.
"Who the hell are these people," Lexi said disgusted at my choice in music. I loved rock and indie bands mostly from the 60's and 70's.
"Don't you have anything more modern?" She asked looking through my vinyl record collection.
"Be careful," I hissed as I grabbed my vinyl records from her. "They are very rare!"
She rolled her eyes at me as she started looking through my CD collection. She gave up up and grabbed the 'Take Me Home' album from her back.
"Finally! Something decent!" She exclaimed and ran over to the stereo entering the disc inside and hitting play. 'Loved You First' by One Direction blasted out of my stereo. Lexi started squealing and jumping around before belting out the lyrics of the song. I had to admit their songs were pretty catchy and I could relate to their songs. Like this song.
I loved Damon first. But now I see your heart's been taken. And nothing could be worse.
Baby, I loved you firstI should have been the one kissing you on the mouth, not Natalie. She put the music louder.
I lacked a lot of things; maybe that's why Damon wasn't mine. I sighed whilst my eyes began to water.
Lexi raised a brow at me and her hands were located on her hips. She knew what I was thinking about and judging by her facial expression she wasn't pleased.
"Baby. . ." She sighed as she pulled me into a tight embrace. I sobbed quietly on her shoulder as she patted my back.
"No guy is worth your tears." She whispered into my ear over the loud music. With her thumb she wiped away all the tears. She forced me to look at her and I sent her a genuine smile. "It's time for you move on. Damon is not Mr Right. There are so many other cute guys around. You'll find someone. I promise."
