Damon's P.O.V.

"Damon," I heard someone call. Confused, I turned to the noise to see Natalie waving at me. Smiling, I made my way towards her as she set out the drinks.

"Beer," she inquired as she stacked a few cans on the table, reaching in for a peck which she received. Nodding, she handed me one.

"Lemme help," I suggested. "Bruv," I called Zac and Cole. "Get your lazy butts up and help!"

Groaning, they agreed. Once everything bad been set, teenagers flooded the house and soon the music could be heard from miles away.

Natalie and I were enjoying ourselves, dancing to the infectious beat when we noticed the change in mood. Everyone had stopped dancing and a majority of people were staring at the front door.

Whispers roamed around over the quiet music which still played but was lowered. The lights had seemed to shine on the entrance on someone. On my tip toes, I could see brunette heads talking to Zac and Cole. Cole and one of the girls moved inwards, towards the kitchen and that's when I caught a glance at the beauty mark near the bright breast of the girl.

Jamie?!

Once the attention of the girl disappeared, Natalie sighed and carried on enjoying herself, entertaining her guests as she chose the hottest tunes to play. Thankfully, she didn't notice me leaving her side. Normally at her parties, she was too busy entertaining guests that she forgot to entertain me, not that I had a problem with that.

I made my way to the kitchen when I heard familiar voices talking in the kitchen.

"So, Miss Geeky, how is operation 'get-over-Damon' working out for ya," he asked.

"How did you," she stammered.

"C'mon, you think only Lexi's helping you," he retorted. "Lexi's doing her part while the lads and I contribute and help."

"Why do you want to help me," she asked confused.

His bitter chuckle threw both me and Jamie off guard.

Okay . . .

"Bitch, let's get this straight. I ain't helping you."

What the-

"I don't like you. The only reason why I'm helping Lexi is so you stop targeting Damon, because you're not good enough for him. He doesn't need you to pester him in his life. You're a no life that can never capture anyone like Damon. I don't even know why Jack likes you. What does he see in you? Also, if you dare break Jack's heart or do anything to mess with the four of us," he leaned in closer, his alcoholic breath in Jamie's face, "it won't be good."

Glaring he turned and stormed off, leaving Jamie shaken.

What the fuck?

Jamie was trying so hard to ignore and forget what had just happened. For a second I considered to go inside and comfort Jamie and tell her I'd sort it out for her, something I had done ever since we were little, the time when teasing began for Jamie.

When Jamie's eye lay upon a beer can, my stomach began to churn as I had a feeling something bad was going to happen.

Luckily, Jamie wasn't upset for long because a random guy came up to her. Kyle was a good guy and I knew he wouldn't hurt or do anything against her will.

"Hey there," he smiled sweetly.  Mirroring his facial reaction, she replied "hi, what's your name?"

From that point, I left because I knew Jamie would be alright. Also, I had to think of something to say to Cole about the conversation. I couldn't just ignore this.
