Dylan POV

School was over and I was cycling home. I wanted to take a shower to wash off the thought that I was going to hurt an innocent boy.
Finally home I opened the backdoor of the house and walked in. "I'm home!" I said loud. My father, John, walked down the stairs. "And where have you been all day, huh?" He asked. "At school... you know" I said a little confused. "You weren't. Now answer me, where were you all day?" He said loud. "I told you! I swear I was at school! Ask my friends!" I was very confused. "NONSENSE" my father screamed, and right after that he punched me in my face. "I SWEAR!" I cried out. He gave me a dissapointed look. "I don't believe you" I looked him right in his eyes. "I was at school" I said in one tone. I walked upstairs, straight to the bathroom. "Okay, let's put something cold on this" I mumbled to myself. Great, that's going to be a big bruise.

Thomas POV

When I was home I got a weird feeling. Dylan saw me, why would he let me go? Maybe he thought I was someone else. I tried to let it go, I couldn't change it and this time I was glad for that.
I walked to the kitchen to get some food. I couldn't even focus on what I should take, Dylan was stuck in my head. Why does it bother me so much? I just took an apple and went upstairs to my room.
I sat behind my desk, starting to make my homework. I tried so hard to focus on it, and when I was finally done, I decided to go visit my neighbour.

As I was standing in front my neighbour's house I rang the doorbell. A few seconds later Lily opened the door. Lily was sixteen years old, just like me. She went to a different school than me when we were eight, and since then I hadn't made new friends.
"Hey, Thomas! Good to see you again, you wanna come in?" She seemed so happy to see me, we hadn't talked in a while because we were both busy with school. "Sure, and.. uhm, I want to talk to you about something" I said a little nervous.
A couple of minutes later we sat on her couch in front of a big window in her living room, with some drinks. "So, what do you wanna talk about?" She asked happy. I took a sip of my drink, "well... I kind of want to talk about Dylan" I said. Dylan was her ex-boyfriend and I just needed to know more about him. "Are you kidding me?" She said with a little laugh, but then she saw my serious face. "Oh, you're not. Well, what do you wanna know?" I got in a more comfortable position on the couch. "Well, Dylan, what was he like when you were with him?"
"Is he bullying you? Because if he is you can tell me and I'll kick his ass for you!" Lily said. "Yeah, no... well, kind of... he was looking for me but I hid myself, and later he saw me but he pretended he didn't and that has been confusing me a lot". She gave me a sad look. "I guess there is something I can tell you"
