Thomas POV.
Another day of school. Just another day to survive.
As I walked through the school building I felt people staring at me.
Head down, don't make eye contact with anyone.
Because I wasn't paying attention where I walked, I walked into someone. "I'm sorry" I said quietly before I walked away. "Yeah! You bet!" the person I just walked into yelled. For a second I looked up, I noticed this person was a guy, dark hair and brown eyes.
Oh no... I just walked into Dylan, the most popular guy in the school. I was sure he was going to let me pay for it, we were never really on good terms, still haven't figured why. As soon as I could I walked to the lockers, where I opened mine. I switched my books and walked to my next class.
I was the first to be in the classroom and I sat down on the first row. Soon the classroom filled with other people and I just hoped this class would be over soon.
Soon I saw my bad luck started to kick in, because there was Dylan. Of course he has this class right now. I stared at my books on the school table. "There you got him again" Dylan said to his friend with a nasty smile. He sat down in the back of the classroom. Silently I thanked god that he didn't sit down anywhere near me.
When the teacher walked in, the class went silent. We sat in history class and our teacher, mr. Smith, started talking about I don't even know what. Of course I wasn't paying attention to this class because I focused as many senses as possible on Dylan. I heared him whispering but I couldn't hear the words he said. Just when I started relaxing a little and paying more attention to the teacher I heard Dylan say my name. I couldn't help but turn around, I saw that Dylan and his friend were staring at me. Dylan whispered something and then they both laughed. "Thomas, could you please pay attention" the teacher said as he tapped my shoulder. "Y-yeah, sorry" I felt embarressed. Great, the whole class is staring at me now.
When the bell finally rang, I packed my stuff and got up as soon as possible. Finally away from here, it was only lunch time but as long as I could avoid Dylan and his friends I was fine.Dylan POV
"I am going to find that guy. He thinks he is smarter than me because he is hiding for me while lunch. Who is he even? Thinking he could walk into me without punishment." I told my friend Jace.
I wasn't even a bad guy, but it was what people expected me to be. The more I acted like a jerk, the more I became one. Sometimes I felt guilty for it, then I would just take a long shower to forget what I had done. After searching for a while I gave up, that poor boy was lucky today. "Maybe he is-" Jace started, but I cut him off "no, we've been looking everywhere, just let it rest for today" I walked away from Jace and into the school cafeteria. I walked towards my other friends who where sitting in our regular spot. "Did you catch the guy?" One them asked. "Next time better" I said with a fake smile. I just realized I barely knew these people, but they said they are my friends so that's what I accepted them as.
As I sat down I saw the boy who I had walked into earlier. Nobody else noticed him, so I'd just let him go. The boy made short eye contact but seemed shocked and walked away really fast. If I only knew his name. I think the teacher said his name. But I couldn't remember. Maybe I would see him later.
