1 Month Later

Last month was nice. Mostly wedding planning. Or whatever. This month sometime soon this baby will come out. Can't wait no longer. Anyways..

I woke up and rolled over only to feel a cold empty spot. Hm .. August. Then I instantly started to smell bacon. I jumped up forgetting I was pregnant.

"Oh momma sorry baby," I whispered to her while holding my stomach.

I walked downstairs and saw August shirtless in some sweats cooking breakfast.😍

I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his upper body and softly breathed in his fragrance.❤

"Morning," he said.

"Morning," I turned him around and he kissed my lips. I smiled against his lips and kissed them again.

"Now move with yo big ass," I playfully pouted and slapped his arm.
After he made me a plate we sat down and ate. Then I froze.

"Babe .. What's wrong ?" I looked down.

"M-my water just broke August help," I winced. I jumped up and ran upstairs then came back down with my already packed suitcase. He helped me up and rushed me to the car. He loaded my things into the car and hopped in then sped off.

At The Hospital

I pulled up at the hospital and quickly helped Brii out then we ran in. I didn't even need to say anything they just brought out the little bed or whatever and took her to the back. They told me to wait. I didnt listen. I wanted to be there to hold her hand .. To be able to see my baby girl being born into this world. I walked into that room and held her hand and kept her calm.

"I love yhu," I kissed her forehead.

"I love yhu too Augie," she looked down as her legs shook. The doctor walked in and washed his hands then applied his gloves.

"Alright how are yhu guys ? I'm Dr. Whasley and I'm going to help yhu give birth to your baby tonight." He smiled. We returned the smile.

He did whatever he was suppose to do and then we were ready.

"Okay on the count of 3 I want yhu to give me a big push," Brii nodded.

"1 ... 2 ... 3" She pushed as hard as she could and he did it again. Next push he had a worried look on his face. He took off his mask and whispered to the other doctors.

"Um.."

"Doc what's going on ?" I asked.

"Well it seems to be that the baby is too big to push out and she's losing too much blood. We're going to need to cut the baby out." Brii looked worried as ever. She shook her head.

"No .. No I can't I'm going to push this baby out !!" The doctor shook his head.

"I'm sorry ma'am." He walked out to go get his equipment.

"Babe its going to be alright .. Once they get the baby out then it'll be just fine." She shook her head and cried.

"Noo August I don't want that big ass cut on my stomach I'm not risking that kind of pain I'm pushing this baby- AAAAAH !! GET IT OUTT !! GET IT OUTT !!" She screamed in pain. I didnt know what to do as she screamed and cried. By the time the doctors rushed back in the baby had already come out. I panicked and looked at Brii. She wasnt moving. She wasn't breathing. I panicked even more. The doctors led me out and tried their best to bring her back. I cried and cried until I blacked out.

"Mr. Alsina .." I could faintly hear someone calling me. I opened my eyes and I was in the hospital waiting room. I looked up at the doctor then stood up.

"Where is she ? Is she okay ?" I was about to walk to the back but he stopped me and looked down with fear in his eyes.

"Mr. Alsina .. She- she didn't make it .." I froze. I was furious. I punched the wall and broke down crying.

"We tried everything in our power but she didn't make it .. I'm sorry, but the baby is healthy." I was happy about my baby but I broke down because Brii wasnt here. I wanted to walk in that room and see her holding the baby and look up at me with a smile.

2 Days Later

I gathered the baby's things and we headed out of the hospital. Once we made it home I brought her inside and upstairs to what used to be me and Brii's bedroom. I sat the baby on the bed and looked at her. She looked at me with her hazel eyes just like her mom and smiled as her dimples popped out. I smiled and picked her up.

"Hey Armoni .. I know yhu want to see mommy but she isn't here .. You're my little Brii. I love yhu and I promise to protect yhu from all harm. Now let's go get something to eat cause daddy's hungry .." She smiled after I talked to her and made weird sounds.

"Aeh !" She yelled throwing her hands down.

"Grrrr" I growled into her soft little cheeks. She giggled and tried to grab my nose. I looked into her eyes as she grabbed onto my cheek. I swear her face lit up. Reminds me of Brii.

I went downstairs and found something to eat. Some cereal. I ate my cereal and fed Armoni her baby food. After we ate we went into the living room and played. We played for awhile. I finally looked at the clock and it was 8:55. I went upstairs and laid her across the bed. Once she was sound asleep I went back downstairs and cleaned up our mess. I turned out all the lights and went back upstairs and laid across the bed with my little Brii.

"I love yhu baby girl," I kissed her cheek and laid on my back.

"I love yhu Brii .. Rest in peace." I thought about her and then I fell asleep.
