**Adrian’s POV**

I couldn’t help but smile as I watched Kylie sit back against the cold steel bleachers focusing her attention on the sketchpad in her lap opened to a white clean page.

I watched her stare at the page intently for a few moments before she put the pencil to the page and began to draw.

I knew that her drawing was a good sign...it meant that she was happy…

“For some reason I love watching you sketch.” I said to her as she smiled with her eyes never leaving the drawing in front of her.

“I’m glad you can pencil me into your busy schedule Ms.Luca.” I said and she quickly looked up at me puzzled.

“What that supposed to mean?” she asked.

“Well it feels like for the past 4 days I’ve barely seen you…” I said as she looked at me with a frown.

“I saw you last night, and this morning... and what do you know, I’m looking at you right now.” She said with a smirk as I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Seriously, its like you're either working or running off to who knows where everyday…” I said.

“I’ve been working Adrian…and I decided to join art club,” she said with a smile.

“I’m glad…but that doesn’t explain where you’ve been disappearing to everyday after school.” I said.

“And I’d really like to know why you’ve been up before me the last few days…” I said but she just bit her lip nervously as she looked down at her sketchpads.

“I thought you weren’t going to be all overprotective?” she asked.

“And I’m not…I’m just curious…” I said.

“I’ve been helping Bobby with something…” she said nervously.

“With what?” I asked doubtfully.

“Adrian I love you but must you know everything? Whatever happened to a little mystery?” she asked.

“I’ think we’ve both had enough mystery In our relationship to last us a lifetime.” I said as she rolled her eyes and let out a deep breath.

“Listen how about we do something tonight? I’m not working…I’ll let you cook me dinner, well I’ll let Michael…” she said with a laugh.

Just the thought of having a romantic night alone put a smile on my face…but I knew that it was impossible.

“I’d love to…but I’m working…” I said and I watched her frowned.

“Cant you take off this one time?” she begged as she looked at me with her adorable puppy dogface.

And just as I was about to say yes I remembered the recent break in…I knew that I couldn’t.

“I cant babe, I promise soon though…” I said.

“Soon isn’t soon enough…” she said.

“Did you just throw a cliché at me?” I asked with a smirk.

“I did, but its true” she said and I smiled and I knew in that moment that the smile was going to get me through the rest of the day…the rest of a very long hard day…

“Where’s Chase?” I asked Michael as I came home.

“Not sure…he left about 30 minutes ago.” He said and I nodded as I sat besides him on the couch.
