                                                              Carlton's POV

I can't believe it. She won him even though I'm a damn good father. I fled from the room and shifted into the woods. Images of everything that's happened between Yvette and I flashed through my mind. I needed to get my mind off of everything so I ran for hours.

I shut my link off during the run, but I could feel people trying to contact me. I would give them and explanation later. When I was done with my run, I went to sit by a river. I saw a tan wolf in the reflection so I knew it was Tex. We shifted back into humans and began to walk back to the pack house.

Once we got back, my dad linked Tex and I to come into my office. "Son, I know this must be hard on you-" he started. "Dad, I'm not going to abandon the pack if that's what you're thinking." I said in a defeated tone. "It's not just that I'm talking about, I'm talking about you. I don't want you to give up on life." he told me. "Dad, I'm mate-less and son-less, but I'll try."

I walked out the office and headed to my room. I stepped into my room and instantly saw a picture of Nick and I. I picked it up and looked at the photo. We were happy in that picture, and the images of earlier flashed in my mind again. I growled and threw a chair out the window, then I slammed the TV against the wall.

"That conniving bitch!" I stated while I smashed the mirror. My. mother, father, Ava, and Tex ran into the room trying to restrain me. "She took my son." my voice cracked. "I need my son." I cried. I felt them embrace me in hug trying to console me.

                                                       Yvette's POV

When the judge announced I had Nick, I wasn't surprised. I knew I'd win him despite Carlton's the better parent. We left the court room and Nick did not want to get into the car.

There was people around watching so I had to put on an act so I asked him sweetly to get in. We made it back to the house. I told Nick to get out the car and he wouldn't budge.

I grabbed his arm and got him out the car. "But I want daddy" he said. "You'll never see him again!" I screamed at him. He ran out the house and took off who knows where. "I'll go get him." Devin said growling. "No, you and I are going upstairs." I told him unbuttoning his shirt.

                                                          Sheri's POV

I was going for my usual run when I saw a small child. He was sitting by a tree crying. I stepped on a leaf and I seemed to startled him. "Are you lost?" I asked. He looked up at me with hazel-green eyes and said, " I'm looking for my daddy. I miss him so much."

I hug him and told him it's okay. He cried into my shoulder louder. I picked him up and carried him over my shoulder.

I began walking to a nearby park. I made it to the park and the little boy was asleep. I laid him on a bench and sat by him. My phone started ringing, I noticed it was Ava calling. "What are you doing? " she asked. " Trying to help this little boy find his daddy."  I told her. "Mind if I help you?" she asked. "sure" I said.  She asked where I was and I told her I was at the park.

15 minutes later Ava arrived. "Hey" I told her. I saw the little boy stir and then awaken. "So where's the little boy? she stated. I motioned her to the bench. She looked at the boy and said, "Nick?" and the little boy said "Aunt Ava?"

Looks like Ava found her nephew, I wonder how this will play out.
