                                                              Sheri's POV

Where did you find him? she asked. I saw him by a tree nearby. I didn't know you have a nephew. "Yeah, he's my oldest brother son." I remember you told me you have siblings.

I wonder what happened to his dad. Where's his dad? "He's fine, he's just going through a lot." She said. I felt bad for her brother and her nephew; I wanted to help them. I told her if there's anything I can do let me know. She smiled at me.

"Nick,  you're ready to see your dad?" "Yeah!" He jumped up and ran like a kid going to the candy store. "Sheri, do you want to come with us?

If it wasn't for you, I'll probably wouldn't have known where he was." I can't today, but I'll be there tomorrow. "Sure, we'll watch your favorite movie.

Let's go Nick." He ran inside the car. I waved at them and told them bye then they left. I put my earphones in my ear and started my run back home.

                                                         Carlton's POV

I was outside the pack house training young wolves. Suddenly, I got a mind-link from Ava to come inside. I asked Tex to take over until I came back.

I made my way inside and she had a grin on her face. I asked her what did she want. "I have something for you." I looked confused until I heard "Daddy!" Nick ran to me and hug my leg. I hugged him back.

How did you find him Ava? "One of my friends did. You can thank her when she comes tomorrow." "Momma's mean daddy." what did she do I asked. "She yelled at me." How dare she yell at my son. my wolf growled.

"I missed you dad." I missed so much. I told him and I gave him another hug then I smelt another scent. It smelt like sweet pea and my wolf was acting weird. Tex walked in and he smiled when he saw Nick.

We ate dinner and I put him to sleep. Lying in my bed, all I could think about was having Nick back and that scent. Could it be? my wolf asked. No, it'll never happen; it's over for us.
