its been a week since daeyeon has seen the majestic being called jeon jungkook. she kept the cup of the hot chocolate he bought her on her study table and would smile as she remembered his charming face.
more than often, he would cross her mind and she would wonder if he even remembers her. probably not, she thinks. he probably forgot about me as soon as i went out of that cafe.
ah, that cafe. she would sometimes stop by to buy herself hot chocolate after coming from the library and to see if jungkook was perhaps around, but he never was.
i guess its fate's way of saying he was just a stranger meant to pass by and never stay.
daeyeon was preparing for her performance that night. she performs every friday night on the streets with her group of friends.
she dusted her guitar and made sure it was in tune and put it back in her bag. she checked her outfit in the mirror. she was wearing ripped jeans and a simple purple sweater with white stripes. she then headed to their spot and smiled when she saw there were a few people watching.
right now, her friend wendy was singing a beautiful rendition of a mellow song and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. she was up next and even though she performed in front of big audiences a hundred times before, she still always gets nervous.
you just have to sing your heart out as always, dae. you can do it!
wendy's performance ended with a big cheer and daeyeon followed, now carrying her precious guitar.
she cleared her throat and smiled at the audience.
"good evening to everyone who took their time to watch us perform tonight. thank you so much for sparing us your precious time" she greeted. "i'm daeyeon and tonight i will be singing an original song. its entitled 'one of these nights' and i hope you enjoy it"
she strummed her guitar and closed her eyes. she composed this song 3 days ago, with jeon jungkook on her mind. i hope someway, he hears this and realizes its for him.
