"psh, all guys are the same" daeyeon mumbled to herself as she sipped from her banana milk.
after being left alone by jungkook, she decided to just spend some alone time roaming around the mall. she doesn't know why she even thought that was a good idea because she now looks like a complete loner surrounded by people in groups.
her phone rang in her pocket so she stopped in front of the department store to answer the call.
"oh, madam seo! you called!" daeyeon broke into a smile.
the lady from the other side of the line laughed. "daughter! why don't you ever call me your mom?"
"because you're more special than that" she replied. "how are things? how's master seo?"
"we're both missing you, daeyeon-ah. me and your dad. when will you be coming to visit?"
"i'm still looking over my schedule. but i guess i can go 2 weeks from now"
"thats great news! we really do miss you. but dont you worry, we're enjoying it here as well so just study well there and have fun too"
"thanks madam seo. i love you" daeyeon said.
"i love you too, my little darling" she could feel proud madam seo smiling from the other side of the phone. "ah, wait!"
"yes, madam seo?"
"your dad wanted me to ask if you still don't want to meet — "
"lets...lets not talk about this"
she stopped madam seo before she could say anymore. daeyeon knew very well what madam seo wanted to ask and she didn't want to hear it.
after all these years, she still wasn't ready.
she thinks she will never be, even.
she heard madam seo sigh. "okay. i wont pry anymore. anyway, just call us when you need us anytime. we'll be here waiting"
daeyeon mumbled slightly in agreement and ended the call. she does feel sorry for changing moods all of a sudden but that question just ticks her off.
she shook the thought out of her system and continued on exploring the mall on her own.
nothing good will come out of feeling bad for yourself, seo daeyeon. you have to stay strong. your happiness relies on your capability to stay happy.
she put on a smile, though it was less sincere than her usual one, it was still the same upward curve.
seo daeyeon is always happy.
