ten;
jungkook mumbles a 'thank you' at the cashier clerk and grabs the ice-cold drink he bought. his steps were heavy as he walked outside to sit on the plastic tables arranged outside the convinience store. he twists the cap of his drink open and chugged it down, consuming half of it. he then puts the bottle on the table and closed his eyes.
an in an instant, the memories of earlier floods his mind. his eyes shot open and rakes a hand through his hair. he must be a complete psycho, doing what he did back there. how could he do that thing, and worse, to her?
his hands travel to his lips. "honestly, it wasn't that bad..."
the kiss was just light and short. but the feeling of her lips on his still lingers even after it was over. he can still feel it now, and he doesn't know if thats a bad thing or a good thing.
probably the latter.
he fights the urge to smile. he cannot be liking this. that? that was just nothing.
but there wasn't.
really?
yes, there wasn't.
his phone buzzes in his pocket, cutting his thoughts. he pulls out his phone and he sighs at the contact name flashing on his cellphone screen. its been a while since they've talked. he swiped to answer.
"hello" he says. "yeah, mom"
a wave of panic surges through jungkook's veins at his mom's voice. he quickly stands up, pacing back and forth, not being able to stand still. he unconciously bites onto his finger nails.
"mom" he calls at her sternly. "mom, listen to me. listen to me, okay? stay where you are. don't go anywhere and don't do anything stupid. i'm coming to get you"
he ends the call and starts sprinting out of daeyeon's village. he hails a cab and tells the driver to step on it. he curses at this sudden event.
i thought they were already okay. i thought they were doing well! aish!

"why the long face?" hoseok's face pops out of nowhere, making her jolt in surprise.
"jeez, jung hoseok! i thought you were a horse who gained speaking abilities!" she says with a hand on her heart. "oh wait...you are"
hoseok rolls his eyes at her and sits beside her on the park bench. "ha-ha. very funny, daeyeonnie"
she ignores him and drifts her thoughts back to that one night. she can't stop thinking about it. that kiss. it meant so much to her but she's not sure if it meant the same amount as it did to jungkook. probably not, she sighs. but she wants to stay positive by reassuring herself that the both of them haven't talked about it ever since that night.
if only that ass would answer his damn phone! urgh!
its been 3 days and jungkook still won't answer her calls or her texts. at first she started bombarding his phone with notifications, but she stopped all her efforts yesterday. she was getting tired, and she didn't wanna annoy him and look desperate.
