daeyeon held her bunny plushie, whom she named kookie, close to her as they walked to a nearby park. jungkook walked beside her, carrying two ramyun cups in his hands.
"so how are we suppose to eat here?" jungkook questioned as they stand in front a bare spot of grass.
"don't worry fam. i got you covered" daeyeon winked cheekily and pulled out a picnic blanket from her bag.
"oh wow, have you been planning for this moment your whole entire life?"
"yes so sit down and eat with me" she patted the spot in front of her.
jungkook shrugged and seated himself on the blanket. he gave her ramyun cup and they devoured their food in just a matter of minutes.
"that was the best ramyun i've ever had in so long" jungkook breathed and lied himself down on the blanket.
the baby blue sky was turning into a purple velvety shade that slowly got decorated with gem-like stars. it was breathtaking and jungkook doesn't remember when was the last time he lied down outside and appreciated simple wonders like this.
would he have ever experienced this blissful moment if he hadn't met a certain person named seo daeyeon? he doesn't think so.
"i'll be back" daeyeon said as she stood up. jungkook just nodded and continued his star-gazing.
she went back moments later and jungkook couldn't hold in his laughter as he watched a giddy daeyeon walk near him with a guitar in her hands.
"how many surprises do you have in store exactly?"
"i'm not telling" she giggled and sat herself in front of him. "here"
he stared at the guitar being handed to him. "and what am i suppose to do with that?"
"play me a song"
"what makes you think i know how to play the guitar?"
