I woke up at 7 in the morning to my alarm blasting "If You Think This Song Is About You, You're Probably Right". I smashed the snooze button, not particularly caring if my clock suffered any real damage. My face was buried in my pillow, my soft blond curls were a frizzy mess. My blankets haphazardly covered my body, which was only half laying on my bed.

As I finally started to fall back asleep, someone walked into my room. I threw a pillow at the person, but only hit the door. I heard chuckling, which irritated me more. "Get out..." I whined.

"Not a chance," the deep-voiced male sat on my legs.

"Andy!! Get off, please!" I pouted, not thinking about the fact that he couldn't see my face at the moment.

"Aww, but Isis...!" Andy was pouting too, I could tell, "What if I wanted to do this?" He moved the blanket and laid down next to me.

"Sentimental dork," I rolled over to lay against his chest.

"Hey, I'm your sentimental dork," he held me closely and I smiled.

"Maybe so... But that's only until you get another girlfriend."

"Not true! You're my best friend, Isis!"

"And you ignore me when you get a girlfriend."

Andy frowned, I'm sorry... I'll make it up to you!"

"Fine... How about... Oh! Back massage!!" I smiled and Andy chuckled, "Okay, lay on your stomach."

"I giggled, "If you say so. I didn't mean right now, but whatever." I laid on my stomach as Andypulled the blanket away from me and sat on my legs.

My alarm started playing the D.R.U.G.S. album just as Andy placed his hands on my lower back. I shuddered slightly - his hands were warmer than my back. It didn't take long for my back to warm up, though. Andy's touch was surprisingly gentle; just as it was 4 years ago. I turned my head slightly, "Remember sophomore year?"

"Which part? There was a lot before I dropped out."

"Two weeks before you dropped out... When I asked for a back massage in the middle of lunch."

Andy started laughing, "Yeah! I told you to just lay down wherever."

"So I laid down on a bench and took off my shirt right in the middle of the hallway."

He laughed harder, "Everyone stared and we got in trouble when a teacher walked by."

"Do you know how many rumours there were about us after that?"

"Tons?"

"Yup!" I feigned a reminiscent tone, "We were so in love back then..." Andy and I burst into laughter, clutching our sides.

Not much later (maybe 20 minutes or so), Andy stopped rubbing my back, "Okay, my hands are numb. I'll give you another one later. Okay, Isis?"

I nodded, "Thanks! I should probably get dressed anyway. " Andy got off of me and helped me up. When I stood, I fixed my sweatpants and tanktop. I yawned, "I'll be out there in a sec. I need to get dressed."

"Okay, Matt and I will wait on breakfast then," Andy left me alone in my room to get dressed.

I put on my torn lime green skinny jeans (with black lace patching the holes) and my dark purple corset top from Hot Topic. After putting my peacock feather earrings, my black pearl studs, and my diamond studs in my ears and cartilage (respectively), I put a small hoop in my nose piercing and brushed and curled my hair. Finally, I put on my platinum and diamond - custom made - Evenstar necklace. Yes, I'm a Lord of the Rings nerd. My 16th birthday, sophomore year of high school, Andy emailed the jeweler that masde all the official LOTR jewelry memorabilia and asked him to make an Evenstar necklace out of platinum and diamonds, He even had the back engraved. It said, "Follow the mourning star - a light when Darkness fell." Yeah, lyrics to a song on the newest album... Andy wrote that sentence a long time ago, though. It was something he said to me a lot. It was almost as if Andy was my guardian angel. But he wasn't. I knew that much...
