The Hidden Princess

Prologue

"I'm a what." I said. My mother or at least I thought she was just told me I'm a princess.

"Honey you are the princess of Phoenix Drop. A very powerful village. You're parents told me to keep you safe from the life of a princess until you turned eighteen." She said. My mother was Lily, a great person to the village of Falcon Claw. I was her daughter or so I thought and I had a brother name Jacob but I guess I was never really family.

"But I've been here longer than I have anywhere else." I said.

"Aphmau I know this is a lot to take in but your father recently died and your mother died giving birth to you. Aphmau you are all that's left for that village and if you don't become queen then the head guard will have to put some random person up as queen or king." She said.

"But you took care of me for my entire life. I can't leave you and Jacob." I said.

"Honey we are leaving with you to Phoenix Drop. Jacob and me are never leaving your side." She said and I hugged her.

"Thank you Lily." I said.

"Oh honey don't call me that. I'm technically your mother." She said.

"I know." I said and she smiled.

"Get packing we leave soon." She said and I ran to my room and started to pack everything I had. I can't believe I was a hidden princess for half my life.

I stood outside the gates of Falcon Claw with my mother and Jacob looking up.

"Goodbye home." I said and we all got on our horses and road off to Phoenix Drop. Here we come........I guess.
