Sorry if I skip a lot but I'm tired still and there's a lot going to happen in this chapter.

I sat by the river near Scaleswind making a flower crown since I had nothing else to do. I mean me and Aaron have only been here for like two days and nothing exciting happened. I looked into the river and saw that up in the trees was that girl we met in Isle.

"Miss are you following us." I said and she looked at me.

"Oh no. I'm moving from Isle so I need a new home. I'm fourteen ya know." She said.

"Would you like to live with me and my husband back in Phoenix Drop." I said.

"You would really just take me in like that." She said and hopped down from the tree and walked over to me.

"Yes. I've already adopted two boys. I don't think they'd mind getting a sister." I said and she hugged me.

"Thank you so much." She said and I smiled.

"No problem Scar." I said and she smiled at me.

"My real name is Scarlet but I like Scar better." She said.

"Quick question, why do you have a purple eye." I said.

"Oh that. I was messing with my powers and some potions when the potion exploded and have me a purple eye. I got that last year when I was thirteen." She said.

"Oh wow ok." I said.

"Yea. I have very powerful magiks so I may want to stay away from everyone else when I'm messing with them." She said.

"Can you control them?" I asked.

"Yes I can. My powers are originated from my mother who I don't know. My friend gave me this bow I have on my back and I took this sword from my father. Well at least I think he was my father. I mean he never acted like one." She said.

"Oh Scar I'm sorry." I said.

"No it's fine. I'm away from the village and off to a new one with my new mother and father." She said. I smiled and heard footsteps walking over.

"Ugh it's probably O'khasis. They may or may not be on my tail for stealing the high priest's sword." She said.

"But he's dead. Why would you want the sword." I said.

"I was after him for a long time. He hurt my village two years ago causing it to go into depression and if you didn't notice when you first got there the houses are ruined and the villagers are mostly dead." She said.

"Oh." I said. The sound got closer and I saw Aaron.

"Oh hey Aaron." I said and he looked at Scar.

"She followed us." He said.

"No I'm moving and now I'm your new daughter." Scar said and I smiled.

"Aph you adopt to many people or kids that need help." Aaron said.

"Whatever." I said and finished the flower crown and put it away. We walked back to Scaleswind for another boring day here. Nicole should make Scaleswind more exciting than it is.

Today is our last day in Scaleswind and only Nicole knows something very surprising to everyone. I'm about a week pregnant with Aaron's child. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he finds out! I told Scar and she was so happy. She said she wouldn't tell anyone and I smiled. We're on our horses now going back home. Scar is helping us get home since she apparently knows the way there. I know the way there but not from Scaleswind.
