Chapter 12

~Luke's P.O.V.~

I sighed. I couldn't stop thinking about Bella. I really like this girl. Wait did I just speak my thoughts? I'm pretty sure I did. I started to hear laughing on the other side of my door. Am I imagining it? Wait. Now it stopped. You know what? I'm just going to check it out. I headed toward the door and opened it hoping to find somebody or something, but no one was there.

Now I feel like an idiot...

I should probably go back downstairs with the guys. I have been up here for a while.

"Hey guys, I'm back." I say to Connor, Chris, James, and Steven, while heading downstairs and walking towards the kitchen.

"Oh hey."

"Sup."

"Hey."

"Hi." They all said in unison. I'm surprised I caught everything they just said. They all were acting kind of weird and were kind of breathing hard.

"Are you guys okay??" I asked the group with furrowed eyebrows. I went to the kitchen to get a drink.

"Yeah. Why?" James asked.

"I don't know. You guys look weird.." I said while opening my soda can and leaning my elbows back against the kitchen island counter.

"Wow. Thanks Luke. I meant to look weird." James said with sarcasim rolling off his tongue.

"Haha that's not what I meant." I laughed.

"I know. Just messing with you. So who was that on the phone?" James said casually.

"No one. Just my dad." What a lie. My dad is constantly working and never has time for me.

"Oh..that's um- is everything okay." James said to me with worry, while everyone looked up at me.

Great Luke. What a shitty move pulling out the 'dad card'.

"Uhh yeah." Is all I could say.

I wanted to change the subject and fast.

"So what are we going to do today?" Connor asked this time.

"I don't know. We can go to the beach?" I asked the group in general.

"Yeah. I'm down." Steven said while everyone nodded.

Half an hour later we all piled into the car and headed for the beach.

~Bella's P.O.V.~

"Is that the last box?" I asked Jennifer carefully making sure we didn't forget anything.

"Yeah. I checked every room. We didn't leave anything behind. She practically read my thoughts. She smiled at me while we got into the car and lead the U-haul truck to our new house. I had only seen the house once and it was only through pictures, so I'm trusting Jenny that everything is going to be prefect!

"And we're here!" Jennifer shrieked. I think she damaged my eardrums.

"Wow." My mouth hung open while I was still rubbing my ears.

The house was amazing.

It was perfect.

No.

It was amazingly perfect.

I stood there in front of the house gaping at it. It was everything and anything I have wanted. Just, wow.

"I know! Amazing right?!" Jennifer yelled again, this time seeing my reactions.

"Uh-huh!" I yelled back and nodded my head super fast.

"Just wait until you see inside!" She ran into the house and I followed graciously.

"Damn girl! How much do you get paid?!" I probably make half of what you make. Are you sure it's okay that your paying for most of it???" I asked unsure if I should let this slip.

"Yeah! Of course! It was my idea! And plus, you have most of the groceries and furniture paid for!" Jennifer easily said while brushing it off.

She did have a point. And it's too late to turn back now.

"Well we should probably start unpacking." I said while she agreed by nodding and following me out the door.

By the time we finished, it was almost 9:00 p.m. There were still things here and there, but for the most part, we were done.

"Omg. I'm starved. Let's get some dinner?" I asked Jennifer, while my stomach sounded like a dieing whale.

"Yeah. Let's just get some take-out." Jenny agreed with me yet again.

We got some take-out and talked about our future plans with the new house. Hoping we could have amazing parties, and nice neighbors that won't mind. Maybe even cute guys. We talked about getting a pet dog. Maybe a Cocker Spaniel. And we can get more furniture to fill up the empty space in alot of the rooms. Everything is going great.

Absolutely perfect.
