Olivia was filled with hope when she ran to the hallway. Maybe the teacher had made a mistake! Maybe it wasn't a couple! Perhaps it was Adam coming to adopt her!
All Olivia's hopes sunk to the bottom of her heart when she saw who was waiting for her in the lobby.
A woman with pink, red, and blue highlights. It some what reminded Olivia of Justice's skin. She had piercings all along her nose, lips, and ears. She had a tattoo of a golden yellow lion on her arm.
The man who appeared to be her husband was wearing a ripped black shirt, with a tatto of a stabbed heart on his leg. He had a mohawk with piercings in his nose and these huge rings in his ears.
"Oh joy." Olivia mumbled.
"Olivia, these are your NEW parents. Sunshine and Grayson." She pointed to the WONDERFUL couple.
"Yeah, we like," The woman chewed her gum loudly. "Came to get the kid or something?" She turned to her husband.
"Yes." He didn't even look at Olivia. "Get in the car." He gestured to to their old black van out in the parking lot. Olivia found herself being pushed out the door, and shoved into the back of the van. It had no seats. Just drums, guitars, and just piles of garbage.
As they drove away, Olivia looked out her window to get a last glimpse of the orphanage. And she could have sworn that she saw Ty's car pull up to the gate as she disappeared into the distance.
