Chapter 31 (Day 26)

Carlos's POV

I woke up on the hospital chairs to see Kendall still not up. It was 10 o'clock when the doctor came by and said
"He's still not up? We were afraid this would happen. It seems that Mr.Schmidt is in a coma."
"What?" I said.
"I'm sorry. You can still stay though." I nodded my head and the doctor left. I wonder what's going on in Kendall's mind.

Kendall's POV

I opened my eyes to see I was on a cloud. I was wearing my favorite red plaid shirt and some jeans.
"What the...?" I started.
"Don't say it!" Someone said. I turned and saw a girl who was in a pink dress and had dark brown hair.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Mandy. You?" She asked.
"Kendall."
"Kendall how did you die?"
"I'm dead!?"
"Well I'm dead. I died after being shot."
"So this is heaven?"
"No! This is the midway between heaven and hell."
"Oh."
"So how did you die?"
"Well it was suicide."
"Why?"
"This girl she took me on the wildest ride ever but I always fell. I couldn't take it."
"That sucks. Well you can stay here with me forever now. No more heartbreak or worries."
"That would be nice."
"Well...tag you're it!" She touched my chest and started running away from me. I smiled and let out a laugh. I ran after her. Maybe this wasn't so bad.

Logan's POV

I just got a call from Carlos telling me Kendall's in a coma. I went to get breakfast to take my mind off of that. I saw Maria sitting on one if the chairs by the kitchen.
"What are you doing here?" I spat. I didn't really liked Maria that much anymore since she hurt Kendall.
"Logan how is he?" She asked.
"Wouldn't you like to fucking know." I growled.
"But Logan I-"
"No Maria don't even talk about Kendall! He loved you like no other and that date he was taking you on the day of the accident was something that would've made your day. But you didn't even let him explain you just left him! You have no feelings what so ever! Your just a cold, heartless, bitch!" She looked at me with remorseful eyes but those quickly turned to anger. She walked up to me and slapped me hard across my face.
"Don't you ever call me a bitch." She growled lowly.
"I fucking call 'em as I fucking see 'em." I said slowly with a lot of rage. She lunged at me and I caught her holding both her hands up and pinning her against the wall. I also kept her legs in place.
"Let go of me!" She screamed. I held her face in my hand and said
"I don't want you fucking coming around here no more. Got it!" I growled. She nodded her head and I let her go.
"Fucking asshole." She muttered before walking out the door.
"Ditto!" I screamed back. If Kendall doesn't make it I WILL kill her.

James's POV

Was at the hospital checking up on Charlie. He was mostly ok but had a broken arm and sore ribs. He should be out by tomorrow afternoon. I told him about Ciara, Maria, and Kendall. At first he mad at Kendall but got over it knowing it was an accident. If only Maria could be that understanding! It was 3 and I decided to leave Charlie to see Kendall. I walked to his room and saw he still didn't wake up. I left and went to get some lunch. I got a text from Maria and it said
'Meet me at Olive Garden now.' I got in my car and drove to the Olive Garden. I walked in and said
"Maria Richards?"
"Ahh Mr.Maslow. In the far corner." He said. I walked over to her and sat across from her. I was still mad at her but I wanted to hear what she had to say. She opened her mouth to speak bit I cut her off.
"Maria I'm gonna give you 10 minutes to talk and then depending on the outcome I'll stay or go." I said. She nodded her head.
"I wanted to say when you see Kendall at the hospital tell him Maria says 'get better'." She said.
"Get better? Get better?! Maria Kendall's in a coma. You know those things when you might not wake up! God, I thought you'd changed and say sorry for all that bullshit you caused him! But no I should've known you would be like a heartless bitch! God stop acting like this! Maria you used to be so nice. I'm leaving and DON'T call me again." I said. I got up and left Maria there looking speechless. I got in and drove home.

Carlos's POV

It was 7 and I was sitting with Alexa at home when Maria came in.
"Carlos why do you guys all hate me." She asked.
"Carlos! Is that true?" Alexa asked shocked.
"Damn right it is!" Logan said coming in with James.
"Why?" Alexa and Maria asked.
"She's the one who put Kendall in a coma!" James said.
"How?" Alexa asked.
"She put him in a depressive mood after she left him because of an accident and he tried to commit suicide." Logan explained.
"How was I supposed to know he would do that!" She exclaimed.
"That's the thing. You don't think before you act; you just do." James said.
"Shut up James shut up! That's why Halston's cheating on you!" Maria backfired.
"That's a damn lie!" He screamed.
"It's been going on for almost a week James! Right under your stupid nose." She sneered.
"Fuck you." He spat.
"I believe that's what Halston's new boyfriend is doing to her now." She smiled. James got up and punched Maria in her face.
"James!" I screamed. He stood there fuming and said
"If Kendall doesn't make it you're gonna get a lot more where that came from." He stomped out the room and Logan followed. Alexa ran to Maria's side.
"Maria is that true what you said earlier?" Alexa asked.
"Yeah Halston told me after James was in the hospital." She replied.
"And you didn't say anything!? What the hell Maria! God, leave us alone. Come on Alexa." I said. I opened the door for her and she walked out.
"Carlos, what was that?" Alexa asked.
"That was a Maria we never want to see again."' I said.

Kendall's POV

Me and Mandy were laying on the cloud watching the sunset.
"This has been the most fun I've had since I've been dead and that's been for 2 weeks now." She said.
"Yeah and we can keep having fun like this forever." I said. She turned to me and smiled.
"I would like that." She said softly.
"Me too." I said. Mandy slowly moved closer to me and her lips barley even touched mine. It was just a soft brush of lips. I smiled and hugged her. She laughed and we continued to chase each other like we did all day. Maybe being dead isn't that bad.
